I haven't played Street Fighter in a very long time, so I didn't realize there were mainline games without him in them. That's insane! Like making Mortal Combat without Johnny Cage.

@@adahbombdon1512 Trilogy was the best in my opinion. JC wasnt my favorite character back in the day (i played mostly as scorpion and reptile) but I met the johnny cage actor last year. that gave me new respect for the character since the actor is a real life kung fu master.

Great video. As a kid i always thought Guile was the sole lead of Street Fighter due to him being hero of the movie and cartoon series. lol

And for what it’s worth the American animated series was campy but I like how they portrayed Guile as an everyman who does his best to serve justice, defeat evil and is all around a nice guy getting along with everyone sharing his cause. A real American hero!

It was entertaining but corny, the usa express cartoon was as well. Todays Tech would allow a proper live action to be based based upon the Games, Anime, and OVA storylines. But to cover several character backgrounds would be difficult, a TV series would then have to be made to cover that.

The white top and dark pants look Navy dress uniform. In the 90s USAF had a no tattoo policy and that hair cut is not regulation. lets just say this series doesn't try for military accuracy.

William F Guile has got nothing on Victor Sagat 😂 (or Rodney Ryu 😂) also in the live movie Blanka’s full name is Carlos Charlie Blanka why?? Everyone knows Blanka’s real name is Jimmy not Carlos or Charlie. The 1994 live action Street Fighter Movie was completely shit M. Bison was taller than Sagat who was called Victor Sagat when Sagat is his first name in the games not his surname also Ken and Ryu were a pair of con artists which totally goes against their personalities in the games. Ken is a rich businessman who is a millionaire while Ryu (surprised they didn’t call him Rodney Ryu) is a very spiritual person with a high sense of morals who wouldn’t steal or con anything from anyone even if he was starving he wouldn’t steal food! I’m surprised they didn’t have Chun-Li working as a prostitute in a backstreet brothel owned by M. Bison to support her heroin addiction. Oh I almost forgot Balrog is a good guy in the film 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ (probably because Balrog is American and all Americans are good guys out the rescue the world)
