M10 booker is more expensive and carries a smaller cannon(105mm). What happens if it encounters enemy tanks with 125mm cannon? M1 is still the best tank for the army for now. In terms of speed, firepower and armor protection, the m1 design has proven itself in engagements. It. Is also arguably cheaper in price tag vs M10 booker.

They will then deploy the same system as the Bradley and fire off a Hellfire missle or a TOW missle if they encounter heavy armor.

Keep in mind how much footage has come out of the war in Ukraine and how little of it involves tank on tank battle. That said, 105mm is a lot more than 25mm. And 25mm has proven effective at close range to current MBTs (not of a western design).

IN THE MEANTIME... ( like the next 5 to 8 years) just put a 50 mm main gun on the Bradleys.

Booker is not to replace M1 abrams. There is already a prototype for the next tank. The booker is a light tank. They are 2 distinct tanks

It’s not air droppable like the Sheridan Booker makes sense for the USMC an LCAC can carry two of them and it’s weight might be just Reduced enough to negotiate beach landings in soft sand airborne troops should adopt some thing like the black knight the reduced weight might be enough to be Deployed with paratroopers

They are not "MBTs" and They are not being replaced

True but as a German I dont mind. Raining Metal sounds way cooler than how its actually pronounced 😄..

The 50mm cannon firing programmable air-burst munitions is perfect for defeating troops in defilade like those in trenches or behind walls. If Ukraine had this capability, breaking thru Russian lines would be a lot simpler.

Hopefully general dynamics will make big effort to get UK Ajax fixed and in service. Lessons learnt will stand them well for the Griffin 3
