Gene literally taught me how to really sing a balad. I've sang his songs for most of my adult life. I own almost every album he ever made. He's one of the best barroom balad singers I've ever heard. If he's not in the Country music hall of fame, then he definitely deserves to be. Thanks for all the music Gene.
