My father requested this played at his funeral. Every time I hear it I think of him. I know he loved his music. And he passed away in 1987.

Love Gene Watson - he has never been given the credit he deserves. He deserves more than some to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame. He deserves a lot of recognition.

Gene's easy approach to so very, very many gently-beautiful songs is unequaled by any other Country singer I've every heard. Play his videos again and again and again - listen to his phrasing, timing, perfect pitch, and all of those other qualities that make an unequaled Country singers....Conne in Wichita...

My brother Charles passed away Feb 1, 1919, He loved country music and this was his favorite song.

I will put Gene Watson’s Country crooning up against anyone who has ever sang country. Gene should be in the country music hall of fame. He has never gotten the credit he deserves.
