Just listened to the podcast with Marc Maron on Scott Thompson (a.k.a. CarrotTop). The guy makes more money than anyone who commented on this site. Yet he seems miserable with his position in comedy. He knows what we all think of him. Big mansion or not. Love the guy. He's a good dude.

I think he's much cleverer than his act lets on (he showed his quick wit by his response to that "flat-line" tone that sounded). Have seen him in several interviews, and he's got a sharp mind.

that was a rough night for carrot top. as soon as the comics where allowed to roast him they went at it with no mercy. thats mhy he comes up on stage all angry.

Everybody knows that he’s joking but he still says so. I mean obviously it’s a roast. Seems like a really nice guy I wonder if he really is.

the Late Late Show has no prompters or audience machine :) Carrot Top isn't as bad as people believe him to be. he's clever and resourceful. unlike a lot of comics today.. the standard of comedy has kind of drooped. much like television and music standards. i'm making myself sound old. xD

Usually people on steroids seem to be a little stressed or pissy, I doubt he's abusing steroids. He probably just works out, which is also good for the brain.

i live in vegas and seen carrot tops acts many times. idk why some hate him so much. hes 1 of the most friendly comedians ur gona meet.

For all the shit people give him, Carrot Top has all the right in the world to be bitter and let it out in occasions like roasts... but doesn't. That makes him a cool dude in my book.

Don't get me wrong, I like it too. I think World Without Heroes was one of the best songs they ever produced. I just thought the joke was funny which made me happy since it's very rare that ANYTHING Carrot Top does makes me laugh. There's no denying that Elder was not popular among hardcore KISS fans back when it came out. It was also because of Elder that Ace quit the band.

I was the only one who bought it! "brings up the elder" LOL!!!!! It's almost true, but I think it's a cool album.

I've been to some LLS tapings. the only kind of prompter they have is on the cameras for Craig but he doesn't use it much. it's so raw and low budget and he doesn't give a rats ass. they DO however have a warm up guy to hype the audience and say "laugh even if it's lame" and play dance music and give out candy. but really the laughter is genuine anyways. it's such a great environment. normally if there's a heckler they'll be removed, but not before craig rips them a new one! pretty rare though.
