Actually, she and Gene became the best of friends. He speaks glowingly of her in his autobiography. But my God, "I do. You can't hide the hook!" is such a quick line. Very impressive.

The redeeming thing about Gene is that he actually acknowledges being an egomaniac, laughs about going: "Gosh aren't I a bigot!" The worst kind of assholes are the ones who fail to see they're assholes and Gene releases an album called "Asshole" because he knows people see him as being an asshole, with that album he basically goes "Yup, you're right."

Wow im an old middle aged man now in my 50s . I remember as a little boy in elementary school way back in the 70s Gene simmons scared me to death lol . I did see kiss back in the 90s on their so called reunion tour and there end of the road tour saw them twice . Im sure Gene is a nice fellow but i do hope kiss comes to know the Lord Jesus Christ as i do as their personal savior . Hell is a real place the bible calls it a lake of fire Jesus spoke and warned about hell more than he talked about heaven and those people who reject Jesus Christ . None of us are getting any younger Hope kiss figures it out and trust Jesus as there personal savior we only get this life to do it once we die its to late . Just like the gospel of mark says for what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose their soul . Kiss has all the material wealth again none of us are getting any younger and Jesus is the only way to be saved and go to heaven . Jesus loves each of you .

Simmons said she caught a lot of shit for that, even though she herself was Jewish. Simmons wasn't offended, nor did he see any need to be. He said she was a very nice woman, and unfortunately died early. So there were ppl who still could not stand a Totie Fields or a Don Rickles. Unfortunately, the whole thing today is absolutely out of control. Can't say "those people". People are tuned a high string today and I am sure the media loves playing along with that.
