Stefan, I enjoyed your enthusiasm: "I'll do anything...I'll work for free, I'll carry your bags". So nice! It's great, to show Gene's greatness. Gene was gentleman like. He mentioned only shortly "differences" with KISS members. He should teach Ace. And you didn't ask stupid questions. Respect 🌹 It's also important that you reminded of Tommy's father. And how he rescued Holocaust survivers. A great father🌹 A great son🎸. A great interview.

@@donaldhoot7741it was Ace and Peter that struggled with substances and either quit or got fired. They survived for 50 years . Nothing stays the same in that amount of time. Ace and Peter could have teamed up and gave KISS a run for their money but they didn’t. They didn’t have what it takes . Gene and Paul was always the driving force in KISS. When things were good Ace and Peter were great compliments to the band that helped create a unique sound.

"Gene" if you're reading this here's an idea that fans would love. Have all 4 original members record one last solo album with the "Kiss" tittle and makeup covers. Call the solo albums "A Kiss Goodbye from "Gene Simmons" A Kiss Goodbye" from Paul Stanley. A Kiss Goodbye" from Peter Criss" A Kiss Goodbye" from Ace Frehley. No need for a reunion tour. It would only be a "Kiss Goodbye" I know you could write a killer album, but Peter & Ace may need to find people worthy of song writing or maybe you & Paul could help assist them. Either way it would be great for the fans. Not to mention "You & Paul" own the band's name. Just something to consider. You may also add a song with Nick, or Sophie" on it it for either backup vocals or a song as a duet on it.

Problem with the occasional one off show is that there's no substitute for how good a band gets that regularly tours vs not playing live. A couple of weeks of touring in front of a live crowd improves your "actual" musianship more than a year++ of home gaming it so to speak. I suspect that's why they weren't interested in doing a full show with Ace & Peter for this last leg or the hall of fame fiasco; probably would've been a huge letdown compared to the well oiled machine the current band is after years of steady touring. Now add in the KISS element, road crew, costume designers/maintenence, elaborate stage show perfectly timed, etc. Everyone involved is already moving on, getting other jobs, etc. If they just wanted to plug in and play a basic no makeup show, sure... but that's not really KISS; Paul has too much pride to put on a "substandard" KISS show compared to the stellar epic shows they've been doing for the last decade.

What about Vagas? Also what about small venues and veterans fundraisers or nice little shows at some of your rock and brews. The only thing we can count on in life us change,so never say never. You could almost certainly make a phenomenally large bank on even a six month tour with an Ace and Petet reunion. Maybe even something different like Paul,Mean, Ace,Peter Tommy,Eric, all six of you on stage togethor. Fans would appreciate you doing that for Ace and Peter. It would be a show of integrity on your and Paul's part. It has been made clear that it is something that you do not have to do but mither did you have to pay off Bill Acoins partners condo ,but it was an act of kindness and integrety.

The only one of the original four that still has the goods, and that I’d pay money and travel to see. Peter let his negative emotions and entitlement stunt his talent. Ace snorted and drank it all away and is now a pathetic shadow of who he was 15 years ago, let alone in his prime. Paul, while he deserves all the credit in the world of being a tremendous frontman and songwriter and keeping KISS afloat in the 80s and early 90s, comes across like a pretentious Hollywood diva nowadays high off the smell of his own bullshit, and refused to step down after vocal surgeries failed and his titanic ego ate away at his legacy in the last 10 years of KISS’ touring career. Gene? Gene is a straight shooter. He owns who he is, warts and all, and there are no surprises.

You're too hard on Paul. The shows over the last few years have still been fantastic and well worth going to in comparison to no KISS... As to the other stuff, he's seen it all, lots of drug and dysfunctional lives ruined and has no tolerance for people who complain about stuff and yet do nothing to fix their lives.... He uses his fame to promote ideas related to investing in mental health & living a good life. So sometimes preachy but with good intentions

Ace, has always been my favorite for interviews. (He's the "Spinal Tap" of Kiss) Peter is the one who's the most down to earth, these days. There's just way to much sexual controversy surrounding Gene Simmons. But Gene's the one who's still got it when it comes to performing "Live" and with the talent worthy of a "Live" performance. Gene's a very talented and underrated Bass player. and a talented vocalist. I'd love to see him put out one more Solo album. His mind and heart really wasn't in it back in 78' and I feel he could write an album unassisted better than the other 3 original members. Even though Paul has wrote some of the greatest Kiss songs, and had the best vocal range. Unfortunately age hasn't been kind to his vocals. But I do wish him well. And for the record. For anyone claiming "Paul Is Gay" He's not gay. He has a lovely family and never in your life will you ever hear someone come forward saying "I'm the guy who had a sexual encounter with Paul Stanley" Kiss learned their stage moves from "Sean Delaney" He was very influential in the early days of "Kiss" He was gay, but a great guy, and awesome song writer. Not to mention a great producer. Every original member is grateful to this very day because of him. And to be 100% truthful. If it hadn't of been for "Sean Delaney" There may have never been a "Kiss" to start with.
