I bag on Gene Simmons often. He has an overblown ego and comes across as stone cold. However, he knows his shit when it comes to comic books. If it ever comes to where he could not perform in KISS anymore, he should establish a late-life career as a Comic Book Historian.

I think the makeup was the cleverest thing they did. It has saved them and immortalised them. A long as they can stand, have some sort of a voiuce, the makeup will always keep them looking the same.
