This is one of my dear deceased mother favorite from my childhood. Praise the Lord and make a joyful noise unto him, Amen!

I remember Gene singing these song's when was 13, we would travel from southern and northern California to A Allen Tent Meeting, and I was Saved and Baptized at a Tent meeting in the East Bay area near Oakland, CA. I missed them on fire for God, we would have Church until mid-night sometime people were getting healed but, those day's are coming back. God is going to send a big Revival, get ready people!!!

What a beautiful song I got baptized in a Black church in Saint Paul, Minnesota in the year of Our Lord 1980 I was the only Jew Elder Atkins he had ever dunked, those were the good days in my life eating Sister Perry's sweet potato pie and Minister sorry I can't remember his name a big big man , He cooked some mean delicious spare ribs with home barbeque sauce and Bro and Sister Emma home aid lemon meringue pie, Know I remember his name that I forgot Minister Harper, Sorry I'm 99 years old and still go to all the services where I attend Church. Deborah Ransey . Praise The LORD JESUS!! I was Blessed to see and hear Gene Martin sing several years before he passed in 2015. He never lost his Anointed Voice and Passion for singing. He had such a Powerful voice and , to me, Gene Martin has a voice that is superior to any male vocalist I have ever heard. He had a SPECIAL and UNIQUE GIFT that was given to him by The LORD. SISTER, BE BLESSED IN JESUS CHRIST!!

I’ve always wondered who played drums on this album,especially the drum solo on The storm is passing over.My mom told me that it wasn’t David Mangum and David Mangum wasn’t in the picture on the back of the album.
