I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost under A A Allen in 1962 in St Louis, Missouri - I was age 22 - thank God! It has kept me on the highway of holiness for 61 years (I am 83 years old) and yet have the spirit of God abiding within me....to God be all the thanks and glory for drawing me to him out of sin and shame. Hallelujah he did it for me...let him do for you!😍

AnnNC North Carolina Amen! But it’s still here God still has a people in this day in this hour that are not afraid to sing praises to his name until the Glory falls from heaven!! I know in my ministry when I’m preaching anywhere I refuse to do anything until the glory comes down from heaven! Because with out Gods power were nothing more than a tingling brass and a sounding symbol!

RIP Gene. I attended many of these revivals when I was a young girl and this is where I found the Lord- Praise God!!!

Sorry it took so long to get back with you. But there are so many! I saw this evangelist cast out a demon in a young lady and my pastor cast out a demon in a girl that was visisting our church. People; especially Christians don't seem to believe in the devil and his angels. Satan is happy that people don't belive like anymore. I know what you mean! I have about 40 of Bro. Allen's tv shows and they are so incredible. My parents were first introduced to pentecost in Bro. Allen's tentmeetings. My mom got the baptism of the Holy Ghost one night under the tent and was out under the power of God for almost four hours. Bro. Allen was a great man of God. I'm a young old timer! Be blessed!

My God! it's 1:23 a.m. and I feel like a host of angels is in my room while I shout! They HAD IT!!!! Praise God for this anointed choir, Bro. Gene Martin, and that off the chain ORGANIST! Man oh man! I saw Brother Gene two months ago here in New York City. He gave me a great big hug, and it was truly a wonderful blessing. His singing is as wonderful as it was 40 years ago!

It was a lot of churches in the 60's that let the Spirit have its way. Thank God somebody pulled out those old Vids .... yes Lord I got it!!!

I had the privalege of seeing Rev. Gene Martin this last wednesday night at a fellows pastors church. PRAISE GOD It was an awesome service. I'm still feeling it, and we should never lose it. I've seen the you tube videos of Gene and now I can say I've met him. If you guys like this one you should hear him sing "We shall be changed"

If you haven't heard an organist like that you need to stop by our church some time when the spirit of God really gets moving. You should listen to "We shall be changed" by Gene Martin. Now what you felt at one in the morning, Don't lose. Always remember to hold that first love. Draw nigh to God and He'll draw nigh unto you. God will take you as far as you let him. When you get in the spirit of the Lord you won't want to go back to anything else.

A-MEN!!! Lord, I haven't seen Rev. Allen and Brother Gene Martin, in better than 45 years!!! I watched their broadcasts, faithfully, every Sunday morning...and, it started every week off to a rousing start! And, Brother Gene DANCING!! Whoooooo!! Get it, Gene!!! What happy memories this brings back to me!!! Reverend Allen, and the church ROCKIN'!!! That is what "worship" and "church" are about!!! Amen!

I've met Bro. Martin. We were a part of the same ministry in Atlanta a few years back. He still sings as strong; and the last time I saw him (2-3 years ago), he was singing this song. Powerful!

I recall these from when I was a boy. Gene was one of my heroes. My aunt, who was only 9 years older than I, spoke so fondly of him. She said he sounded like a cut diamond was in his throat. I thought, "I want one, too."

I can feel the ANOINTING ALL THROUGH THIS. PRAISE GOD FOR THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST AND FIRE HALLELUJAH!!!

I was later introduced to the sound of Ruth Davis, and could see where Gene got his influence. We were introduced by some mutual friends in a church parking lot in LA- '83. I sang a line of one of Ruth's songs for him. He asked me to sing the next night in his meeting, but I had to fly back home.

Wow! I was introduced to in the late 70s early 80s our church choir which I was a part of & ministerial team n Ms. Faith Temple Pentecostal Church Mission, Koscuisko, Ms. The anointing was present. Evang. Lillie B. Sanlin, pastor taught me immensely as I drove for her & opened service. She was part of & influenced greatly by A A Allen's Ministry. Just teen I heard many stories & lps. Gene Martin, Nancy Harmon, Don Stewart, R.W. Schambach. Thrilling day of yesteryear!

WOW those names bring back good memories in the Lord I was about 23 when I met him for the very 1st time through being at a Don Stewart Compassion Explosion in Chicago... I was introduced to him by a Gloria Allen and Elena Allen and never forgot all the songs he sang that inspired me in the Lord

Gene still got's it, and still sing just as powerful today. wise we could have more church like this TODAY!!!!!

Gene Martin would have Indian Campmeeting in Shiprock/Hogback New Mexico since he first started Coming to the Navajo Reservation with the Late Evangelist A.A. Allen the Man my grandparents were saved in his Ministry, in fact my Grandparents are Visible in the Crowd in this Glorious Clip. I wish I could Post those meetings on You.tube but my Aunt and Uncle have those video tapes.

My parents and a lot of relatives became Christians when A.A. Allen and his ministries came to Shiprock too. My family and relatives are still part of Pentecostal church to this day. God bless you!

I only wish the churches today was like they used to be we'll just have to pray that the churches will come back to the old fashioned Holy Ghost way.

They lost it because of pride. They lost what it is to be holiness, The world has crept in upon them! I am 4th generation Pentecostal Apostolic and oh I an can see a change in it with in the past 20 yrs. Now its a show and everyone is painted up and decked up instead of being prayed up.

now i ask! from 1980 till present what has happened to christian worship? i ask is god in the christian rap, the rehearsed praise dancers, the charismatic kan kan dance? what happened to the power spirit and anointing of god that was once so prevalent and characteristic of pentecostalism? what is called church today is nothing more than a shadow of what it once was or could yet be! evry preacher today is seeking that next big thing, that next socalled move of god. it's nothing more than a trend!
