"Gender Ideology Has Reached CULT-Like Status!" | Isabel Oakeshott Praises Sex Education Regulations

Isabel Oakeshott calls out gender ideology reaching "a cult-like status", as teachers are told to say it is now a "contested belief" not fact.
"It permeates the education system, like poison. I worry Labour will water this down or schools ignore it!"
This week, teachers will face stricter regulations on sex education.
Gillian Keegan will release instructions to schools on Thursday in response to parental concerns regarding the curriculum.
The guidelines will emphasize that the concept of gender ideology, suggesting that individuals can be born into the wrong sex, should be presented as a 'contested belief' rather than fact.
Additionally, schools will be required to share all educational materials with parents to gain their approval of the content being taught.

In a British School?! I knew our American schools have been going to the dogs for decades but I thought all UK schools were single sex. With timeless playing fields, adorable uniforms, and Mr Chips drilling them on their Latin declensions, the cane, ever ready to correct boyish hijinx. I just don't get why anyone thinks this far out material prepares young minds better than the Magna Carta, or Cicero's Catilinarian orations.

Most teachers are not personally extremists but the education system is geared to including everybody and not allowing anybody to feel bad (which is a good thing - up to a point). So it was at the mercy of people like this. Meaning well, schools have become the tool of some extreme Left ideologies.

I believe that identity and sexual preference does not belong in the classroom.. Children have more than enough to deal with at school, over and above whether they should identify as a cat. Of course we need to be accepting of our childrens identity dilemmas, and definitely shouldn't demonise or taboo gender or sexual preferences, but it is absolutely ridiculous that children are being encouraged to identify long before natural hormonal changes come into play.

Here in Europe the topic is already not trending so much anymore. In my daughter's school class there was one kid who identified as a boy for about a year before turning back into a girl. In Switzerland we handle this exclusively with hairstyles, clothes and pronouns. Nobody got harmed. In my son's class all the students held on to their birth gender. So the impact is minimal in real life.

The NHS needs to be a bit more judgemental, she says. They are quite judgemental enough. I was abandoned by all of them, after being given blood pressure tablets and told to go away. They don't work I told them. Was told it was all because I was fat, to simply lose the weight and all my health problems would disappear. I starved myself trying, eating less and less until I couldn’t eat at all. I just kept getting bigger and bigger. On the day I nearly died of anaemia, legs and abdomen swollen rock hard, an A&E doctor thought to jelly scan my heart. After several blood transfusions, they told me it was severe heart failure and the vast majority of it was water. Being judged for fatness nearly killed me, leaving me permanently disabled. After losing 34kg of water and a fair bit of weight, taking a lot of very strong drugs, I managed to reverse the heart failure and my ejection fraction went back to normal. Then they failed to make an appropriate alteration to my meds, leaving me over-medicated (cardiologist's words) and it caused a heart attack. They altered my meds and added more. Caused me kidney and liver failure. Then they took the heart meds, that made it better, down to one quarter of optimal dose to protect my liver. This stopped the diuretics working which caused high potassium levels. Now 24kg has returned with no increase in eating and I'm getting heart failure symptoms again. I still can't get an appointment with anyone. I've spoken to a GP once in six months of trying, on the phone, and she wouldn't change my meds without instruction from a consultant that I don't have. They all see my size and look at me like a POS. A fat blob in a wheelchair, that I had to pay for, that they think I don't need because, according to them, I'm OK, just fat and too lazy to walk. They never ask, never examine, just assume. They've never paid attention long enough to see the not being able to breathe, the weakness, the stumbling or the falling over. Ultimately, I am fat so the rest is irrelevant. I am going to die.

Cost to treat an overweight person to loose weight and be healthy And for those that are trying to loose weight, the golden rule is "don't try do it all at once". 10 minutes walking a day is 3650/60 ~ 60 hours of walking a year or roughly 12k cals (or more if you are heavier) 1) get enough water 2) get enough fibre 3) more of the good 4) less of the bad Pick a habit one at a time and work through 1-4. Worry about exercise when its not so physically demanding. Do what you need ti to loose weight, but 1-4 will help establish good habits

When a country’s ministers are people who do not have the bare minimum experience of the field they are ministering, the outcome is failure & bad decision. Obesity & bad food habits start from young age & during school times as there aren’t enough education on healthy habits. The narratives should not be on thin or fat but rather on strong/weak and then tailor trainings on those. As with schools, people must know that it is the World Economic Forum Cult that is causing all of this for power & control. Furthermore, Migration is a global pandemic and if UK and the West stop bombing those countries for their oil, gas & minerals - just like up to 200 years ago no one will even think leaving their beautiful countries to migrate to expensive Western countries. The countries like Syria that we are poured into for holiday, shopping, culture, nature & beauty is no longer a holiday destination but a poverty hub whose most intellects were killed or eliminated & the rest are leaving as refugees. The same applies to Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Yemen..and guess who bombed these countries the most recently?!

They might deny that, but if you watch weight loss programmes, you can see for yourself how much the people eat. I am overweight, but I know it is because of too much sugar. I used to have two teaspoons of sugar in my coffee, about 7 cups of coffee a day) and sugary sodas especially in summer. Thin people suffer the SAME levels of metabolic diseases at obese people do, BUT at a thinner level. Metabolic diseases can lead to obesity, cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, autoimmune disorders …the list goes on. In the same way we would not deny medical treatment or shame someone who has heart disease, we should not be shaming or denying medics treatment to obese individuals. 80% of obese people have metabolic disease. 40% of thin people have metabolic disease. There are still more thin people than obese people, and it means there are more thin people with metabolic diseases than obese. There are known are TOFI’s…thin on the outside, fat on the inside. Subcutaneous fat , whilst whilst unattractive, on the hips, bum and thighs is relatively insert. Visceral fat, the fat we don’t see, round the organs, is the damaging fat. EVERYONE is in danger if visceral fat and being thin doesn’t give you a get out of jail card. We still need to fight obesity and not embrace it, as is encouraged in the body positivity movement. But it’s possibly impossible whilst we have supermarkets full of fake, toxic foods, laced with all sorts of junk and chemicals. Food corporations that make foods specifically to be highly addictive and highly processed need to be held accountable. These are NOT FOODS. The junk that’s been given to kids in SCHOOLS!!?! Poison. We need to start supporting young children from birth to have access to healthy whole foods. The food industry is corrupt and all it cares about it profit. Too many people are fat, sick, uneducated and addicted. Gut health affects your brain and mental health and many mental health illness could be relieved due to better eating habits. The dietary advice given by doctors is completely inadequate and in many cases WRONG.

I got similar results by doing keto. I'm the kind of person who is really tempted by bread, pizzas, etc but, like intermittent fasting, if you're determined to do it, it's very simple to follow. I couldn't believe how fast it worked.

The less attention you on both sides give it, the sooner it will go away. The left for being pathetically defensive of it, and the right for being pathetically concerned over it.

It's a myth that exercise alone will keep us slim. We can't outrun a bad diet. All the genuine experts tell us that 80% is diet and approx 20% is exercise. Interestingly there is some evidence that even twiddling fingers can help burn some calories.

I have SNRI's and occasional dizzy nausea happens if I don't eat with them. You are exactly the candidate who'd need help because you'd need a full overhaul on diet. Avoid processed food. Processed food is ANYTHING that is in a packet or has been made by a manufacturer. Only eat natural food that come from natural sources Avoid addictive substances like sugar, wheat, oils and monosodium glutamate. These act as opioids in the brain and cause cravings. Oils like sunflower etc are highly concentrated and contain the most calories. Humans are not designed to drink cows milk. That is for baby cows. Dairy contains an addictive substance called casein, which acts like an opioid in the brain. Casein in cows milk is designed to get baby calves to suckle and survive. Humans are designed to be weaned off mothers milk. There are many more sources of calcium from green veg.

The Gender debate.. From my own personal point of view the UK is making too much of a fuss over this debate. Educating people to understand themselves and what they want from their life experience is the wise way to move forward. Whether your vehicle is male or female or whether your gender choice is not compatible to either of these, should be each and every individuals right to choose. So the problem is not one of gender. It is one of choice. For it to be a natural trait within society that we should all be autonoumous. Takes for the people themselves to make that change! When it comes to choice. Humanity has to be educated to be intelligent so as to be able to make choices which would benefit them in their life experiences. Stop promoting the problems with this subject and start advertising and promoting in such a way that living autonomously is assumed to be a natural part of our democratic society. The age at which a child, young person becomes eligible to vote is 18. In this the individual is considered able to intelligently choose for themselves, their own direction.
