Feuerschwanz (you're right about Fire Tail but there is a second [slang] translation which is absolutely 100% intentional: Fire Dick). They were founded in 2004 as parody band to counterpart the (sometimes overly) serious German medieval folk scene. Over the years, they left the staight parody while keeping a mostly humorous attempt and became a medieval rock band while guitarist Hans der Aufrechte (Hans the Upright, real name Hans Platz) directed them, more or less discreetly, towards medieval metal. Their original material is usually in German but in 2020 they started doing cover songs in English too and, in the case of the infamous Dragostea Din Tei (aka the Numa Numa song) even Romanian. Gimme Gimme Gimme is the result of a dare, because on the album release live stream on new years eve 2021, long haired singer/ multi instrumentalist Ben Metzner (stage name Prinz Richard Hodenherz III [Prince R. Testicleheart III]) promised he would do an ABBA cover if their album Memento Mori would push ABBA's Voyage off of the no. 1 rank on the official German album charts within the first week. Well, you just watched the proof of how that went.

I really liked the music but not the video interpretation despite the stunning back drop and landscape. Where I live is also filled with lots of spots to produce music videos but generally only for nature. A real shortage of castles and old buildings in Ontario. I love many German folk and metal groups but had never heard of this group. Will be checking them out. Thanks.❤ 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
