The song is from the point of view or experience of a young woman or teenager experiencing first love or the ending of that love. There was love then rejection from both her lover and her family, with maybe still futher consequences to happen. Thus there is pain, angst, thoughts of revenge and retribution, feelings of helplessness, memories of past love, all those things that a child-woman could feel from a first and failed love affair against her family's wishes. And the song is French, from a people known to be passionate about love and emotions. Diana truly excels at the telling of dark stories through her interpretation of these types of songs. Yet with her beautiful smile that can light up the stage and seem to be the most happy and contented person in the building, and make you the second most happy there.

Вот полностью соглашусь с вами. Не хочу ничем обидеть оригинальную исполнительницу этой песни, но у Индилы, это сугубо моё мнение, слишком сладко-ванильный голос для этой песни, который по сути не может передать боль и страдание в отличии от голоса Дианы. (ИМХО)

There are many different performances of this song on her channel and they provide the words. You should check them out, it's an amazing song. Diana was still pretty young here and she has not been one to slather herself in makeup too much before it was age appropriate. She's as wholesome a character in the music industry as you can find. I often say she is a flower in an industry full of weeds. 🙂🙂 Enjoyed your reaction.
