I’m sorry I didn’t put a 45 slide on a Gen 3 frame. I put the Glock 25 slide on a Gen 4 frame.

I think all you would have to do is get a spring adapter ring from the Glock store SKU 1113 for about 10 bucks. Then you could use the Gen 3 spring assembly. I've used this adapter to put a Gen 3 Glock 25 380 slide on a Gen 4 frame.

You have to channel out the frame to fit the Gen 4 guide rod or use and adapter and run a Gen 3 guide rod

@@ag2158 No special parts. All Gen 3 frame parts and all Gen 5 slide parts. You just need to channel out the frame to fit the Gen 5 guide rod. You also need to make the slide fit in the front frame by taking little of the front. You can put the slide on the frame and mark it so you know how much to take off.

All gens fit a Glock 45. The 17/34 Gen 5 are the only ones Gen specific in 9mm
