Whoop! That translates to Gemstone Mining! We had no idea what we were in for. It was an anniversary and an excuse to get out and let off some steam by smashing rocks with a pick axe!
Idar-Oberstein never disappoints, we found out that the gemstone mine was located right outside of the town and we made a reservation for a Sunday trip. In all fairness, this was a full day's worth of fun. It also included a mine tour however the footage was pretty dark as you could imagine, because, well, its in a mine shaft.
We decided to keep it out of this edit. If we get at least 3 comments to put it into a random clip edition we will! I'll color adjust and you can see some of the adventures with the tour guide! Besides that, we appreciate all of you!
