AMERICANS SETTLING INTO GERMAN LIFE AGAIN

Settling into the new house, letting the boys get used to the new smells. The weather in Germany has been overcast for many months and it's not normal. No, not at all.
But WE are getting back to normal and wanted to say thank you for being here with us. Sometimes we have to remember that this YT channel is a journal, comprised of living in Germany, not just traveling. There are plenty of travel videos out there, we want you to experience what it feels like for an American couple navigating the crazy culture shocks and adventures. We hope you keep watching!

I´ve just read the text below your video and just wanna say that I will follow you and your channel as long as it exists. Like passport two, you two are a very relatable couple to me and my girlfriend. You live in our area (maybe 30km away), seem to be open minded but also down to earth, interested in your environment and make interesting but also normal videos about everyday life without showing off, posing or exaggerating. I have to admit that I have a little soft spot for americans in germany that really (try to) do live here and get along with us "germs" 🙂. All the best to you both, the boys and thanks for your videos, channel and presence! Watching a new video of you, your daily life, your travels and experiences is always a great addition to our daily routine.👍

That is a really big compliment and including Passport Two! If it's one thing we try to do is be relatable because I love Germany, and Heather has never lived outside of the USA so this is fun watching her figure out a lot of the culture. We will be uploading on a regular basis now that we are in the next chapter here! Thank you so much for watching!

Look at the yard folks! That's before and after. This video does not do it justice. What a beautiful yard but oh so much work!

Oh, the ice cream was pretty expensive. But you have to remember that the refrigerator has to run at full speed all the time and not like a coffee machine that only uses electricity when someone wants coffee.

Hi Jason! Yeah I'm pretty happy with that WH t-shirt! I'm planning a trip back to the U.S. and can't wait to visit one late night! Oh it's quiet here for sure! At night everything is super dark but we are getting used to it. Thanks for always watching!

What a beautiuful place! You´ve decorated and furnitured it lovely (in my opinion) in a relative short period of time! Sooo much space and oppotunities for (just) 2 people and 2 dogs! I´m really a bit jealous.😮 The ice cream might be a little bit expensive, but it´s from a (compared to the big marked ice cream producers) relatively small manufacturer and distributor and it contains waaaay less "artificial stuff" (colors, taste enhancers, chemical ingredients an so on) than the ice cream you get at the supermarkets.

Awe thanks! Heather is the decorating queen! I try to stay out of the way! 🤣 It looks big on the inside but it's probably my camera lense. Thanks for tip about the ice cream because one of the first things I said to Heather was "no! that's a crazy price!" But you are right, the ingredients are simple, the machine is 4 minutes away by car...it's perfect for the price. Thanks for watching!
