I like these because on the surface they seem profound, but when you dig a little deeper they're just silly, but then you dig even deeper still and they get profound again. Then there's a layer that smells faintly of balo mushrooms and hot droid grease, but that's not a story the Jedi would tell you.

"The victorious general does not seek battle until the victory is assured"...I think that's--good lord--a *real* Sun Tzu quote, not just some bullshit someone thought would be a funny quote to attribute to Sun Tzu, although I thought it might be amusingly appropriate in this context. Internet singularity has been achieved as the references have collapsed in on themselves, and the laws of humor no longer operate according to the standard model.

This wisdom is a little ironically short-sighted. Not only are most lightsaber techniques dependent on seeing through the force to pre-empt an opponents attacks, there is a race in star wars cannon and legends called the Miraluka who are near-humans who have no eyes at all but function just as well as humans due to their force sensitive nature and are able to "see" through the force just as good if not better then humans see through their eyes.
