GEMINI SYNDROME - REMEMBER WE DIE [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO]

Музыка

Remember We Die
Lyrics:
Can you lend me a hand?
Can you help me to see?
Can you reconcile this war inside of me?
Time is slipping away and I don't seem to mind.
I'm missing something that I can't seem to define.
Remember we die
But you're still alive so don't let go
Cause it's the only thing you know.
There's plenty of time to see the other side.
Remember we die
But until we arrive don't let go
Just let the light shine from your soul
Before we run out of time,
Remember we die.
Can you lend me your ears?
I have something to say.
I wanna care before it all just slips away.
It's a cunning illusion
That time is on my side.
I wanna feel before I have to say goodbye.
I used to beg the Angels to carry me away.
But as the sand drifts by I'm begging them to stay.
Remember we die
But you're still alive so don't let go
Cause it's the only thing you know.
There's plenty of time to see the other side.
Remember we die
But until we arrive don't let go
Just let the light shine from your soul
Before we run out of time,
Remember we die.

@@XX-rs7sqThank you 🙏 I'm doing much better now. I reached out to my family and they welcomed me back with open arms. I've found my faith again. I've got a better job and I'm on my way to being a first time home owner. I can truly say I'm happy now. After years, decades of searching, I've finally found my peace. ❤

I am 55. I still go to a lot of shows. that is our family thing to do. I seen acts from Y&T (awesome live, best 80s band to see!) to Dying Fetus over the last couple of years. It never gets old. We saw Gemini Syndrome at our favorite venue, The Machineshop in Flint, Michigan. There are sometimes a couple of guys there that got me beat by several years and it is always the heavier shows!

I've heard this song a million times on the radio, but never really listened to the meaning behind the song. Decided to listen to this song and hadn't seen the video, so I said fuck it, lets watch it. Putting the lyrics with the video really hit home with me. I struggled mightily last year with severe bouts of depression. I was suicidal the majority of the second half of the year. I always said that I could never follow through with those thoughts. One day I finally hit rock bottom, and I hit it hard. I decided that I was going to end my life, because it didn't feel like worth living anymore. I went out and got a large amount of sleeping pills, and went back home. I paced around for 5 to 10 minutes not sure if I was actually going to go through with this. All of a sudden I just went numb. I didn't care anymore. I didn't care who this was going to affect. I walked to the counter and took 120 sleeping pills, then went to lay down. I don't remember anything after laying down. Next thing I remember is waking up in the hospital. It was 1 full day after everything had happened. I was very confused and didn't know what to think. After some time, everything began to start setting in with what I had done. I never expected to wake up from that. I thought I was truly ending it all. I sent out a text to a friend letting them know I was going to end it all. That text is what saved my life. My roommate rushed to our place and got the paramedics to me in time. Since waking up, I've been through so many different emotions over the last few months. I've regretted so many different things. It was hard to come to terms with the emotional toll that it took on my family and friends. I hurt so many people by what I did. Suicide is not worth it. Having lived through an attempt, and seeing what happens to your loved ones.... That's fucking tough. The weight I carry now feels so much heavier than it did before. Keep yourself surrounded by close family and friends. Let them know what you are going through. Try to keep a constant chain of communication going, so people can be aware of how you are doing. You have to take your mental health serious, and have people around you that will build you up and continue to make you better.

Damn....I can feel it. Simply through the comment as cheesy as it sounds. I'm with you on that, not only because of the song but the feeling that stirs up with every trial we go through in this life especially dealing with depression. I hope all is well man...don't even know who you are and I feel you. Depression is no joke and these empowering lyrics could help many others struggling to get passed it.😃

To all of my fellow Gemini’s out there, what’s up. I will say this, the zodiac of Gemini is the communicator to all other zodiac signs. That is the Gemini gift, voice. And I think this band does that well. Especially considering that they aren’t afraid of their vocalist using bigger words such as reconcile and reinstitution. My kid listens to this and asked me what those words meant, and it gave me reason to pull out the dictionary and show him. It’s good, my kid is learning while listening to his dads music. :-)

Opinions can be interesting. They can be laughable, they can be similar to what yours might be or quite the contrary. My opinion has real merit only to me, but who's matters more than our own??? I think Aaron has the voice of an angel. I think his looks are special and intriguingly beautiful (although I can imagine just how much it didn't feel that way for him growing up in our society). The more important thing however, is the magical aspect of the feelings that a song can incite. This song has touched people. Helped people. Saved people. In making it, it may have saved their own souls a bit, just to let it out. People will comment and judge and compare, but this is truly beautiful. One only need to just let it be as it is, and take it in .
