I have been using this for about a year now and I absolutely love this and I have been doing nails for 35 yrs and always using acrylic (solar powder) and I really like the way these look and the ease to do this and they are strong!!

I see your not blending the tip, is there a reason for that? Also at the 2 week mark (fill time) does everything come off or will this nail including the unblended tip be strong enough to say buff off the color and start with new shade or just touch up the French as with acrylic? Thanks

Hello my question is not about the dip powder system but about your polygel, I am having a horrible time with my clients nails popping off and cracking, I’ve made sure to cover all my basis from proper prep, building a strong apex, staying away from the cuticle as well as not over using slip solution. Please please help!!!

Gelish certainly, I start by pushing back the cuticle, ruffing the nail with 180 grit hand file, dust off nails, clean with 91 alcohol and lint free wipe. I then apply your dehydrater, your primer twice, then I add a thin coat of foundation cure for 30 seconds, I then apply polygel gel, dipping my brush in to slip solution wipe any excess off onto a paper towel , once my polygel is sculpted I then cure in a 54 watt, led/uv lap for 60 seconds

I have a question about the dip base? The ring of the bottle gets hard and the product gets thick and stringy. Is the a way to thin the product? I usually wind up throwing it away and getting a fresh bottle out. I (dont) leave the brush out in between fingers it goes right back into the bottle. Am I doing something wrong?

I purchased the color kit two days ago and from the second application I have had problems with the base coat being sticky and gummy. This created grooves and uneven texture. I have used other brands and not had this issue. Can you tell me why this might be happening? Is it faulty product?

Hi Olivia, When your base coat becomes sticky and gummy it may have been exposed to the Activator. To avoid contamination by the Activator we recommend waiting 20 seconds for the Activator to dry and then wiping the excess with a dry Nail Wipe. We also recommend dry wiping your brush for Base and Top coat on a dry nail wipe after each nail, before placing it back in the bottle. Brush Restore should be used after every client for clean, refreshed brushes. Thank you, Gelish

I don't feel crazy about the idea of dipping fingernails into a jar of acrylic powder. It's not very hygienic especially when using it from clients to clients. There's gotta be better way to apply the product without compromising it's purity. What do you think?

Hi Besma! The best practices would be to ensure your clients hands are properly cleaned before using the dip and there are no visible cuts showing on your clients hands that could contaminate the powder quality. Thank you, Hand & Nail Harmony

Gelish you can take a spoon or tool to spread powder on nail and than use a fan brush to clean mail of excess powder. I do Gelish and find if you do stick your finger into powder your nail comes out thicker and a little chunky with product . I like spooning powder over nail and what’s left over don’t throw back into jar. Contamination will result even if you wash your hands.Thats just my input. Thanks for sharing!
