I'm counting this as a sequel to the Q&A on girls she did last year kzread.info/dash/bejne/a5OoyrV9ZJqTYKQ.html

For those who have been following vtubers for a while, I don't think it had a lot of new facts, but some fun little things like the eyeliner of the past story.

Its kind of crazy this tech is as accessible I remember early Face Rig streamers and the quirks you had to work around.

I tried Face Rig years ago. It never really worked for me, because I'm wearing glasses. The eyes on the model were always glitching in a weird way. Maybe i should have put on eyeliner, lol

@@Rendarg Glasses were a huge problem with early tech. better cameras and some other tricks have allowed use to get around the issue of glasses. AR-Kit in particular uses depth sensors in combination with other optical elements this is why AR-Kit on iPhone is so accurate it practically is a handheld miniaturized version of motion capture equipment.

It may be a considerable workload, but it's not painstakingly animated. The entire point of live2d is how automated a lot of the animation is. Nothing is "painstakingly" animated or even drawn anymore. Have people forgotten there was art and animation before digital tools?
