It's cool how Film Brain is integrated into your show now, sharing his own commentary through editing, and you guys talk to him like he's right there. It adds such a cool dynamic!
Allison and Phelan gave us an early Christmas gift! And it isn't even Christmas in July
It's a shame that Saban didn't think about creating an Avengers style film for his HARVEY CINEMATIC UNIVERSE.
I really love the trend of you and Phelous publishing your reviews back to back or on the same day. It feels like a nice, chill double feature when ever it happens.
I'm gonna assume the Casper-themed Baskin Robbins ice cream was based on Fatso's "figgy pudding" until it is demonstrated otherwise.
The dad kinda looks like Girthmore from The Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree. He must have changed his name to Jollimore after a lightbulb taught him the true meaning of Christmas.
My household is traditional so Christmas isn't over (that mostly means the decorations and tree still remain) till the day after Candlemass Day (February 2nd), americans may more commonly know it as Groundhog day, I guess. Anyway I'm very happy about this late Christmas Special and find it extrordinary time appropriate. On that note I definitely wouldn't mind another Halloween Special next time, for it's really fun.
Spooky & Pearl are supposed to be like 1920s/1930s mobsters. Hence the way they talk.
The human character designs in this special kinda give me Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree flashbacks.
Ah January, that magical time of Christmas backwash and crappy horror films bringing everyone together or at least Allison and Phelan.
I actually still have this movie on VHS somewhere. My mom presumably got it for us for Christmas because my sister was obsessed with Casper Meets Wendy, to the point my mom bought it for her on VHS because she was tired of renting it every other week from Blockbuster. I think I remember liking it. We watched it a million and a half times, and I still remember large parts of it.
That theme song parody is the best part of this film.
Ziggy is an innocent angel!
i am enthusiastically HERE for all Ziggy content
The three of you are spoiling us with such great content this month alone.
I’m glad the important parts of this are getting focused on, like the adorableness of Casper the Ghost meeting Casper the Voice Actor and Randy Travis getting his flowers
Christmas isn't over until the eggnog runs out and I still have half a carton that's good till mid-Febuary. Let's go!
I remember watching this a ton as a kid because I loved Casper so much. Havent seen it in 15+ years but man watching this review brought back a lot of good memories. I never saw A Spirited Beginning but for some reason I played the computer game a lot. Loved this little nostalgia trip!
I recently reviewed "Casper's Scare School" on my own channel. Crapper the Pleasant Poltergeist is simultaneously boring yet fascinating to research and discuss, which are some of my favorite films to review. It's great to see you tackle this sickly sweet spector, Allison and Phelous! ❤
The holliest and jolliest of ghosts?
