Saw a GEC bail-less rope knife on eBay and thought about this video and your comment about bails getting in the way. If you're interested its under the search "Great Eastern Cutlery SFO 2019 Bladeforums 86 Barehead Sailors Rope Knife GEC". Looks to have a high reserve but thought I'd mention anyway.
10 is a nail breaker if im correct(im still kinda new myself)...all the ones ive researched that have a half stop are about 7/8..non half stops ive found to be between 4-6..i have a #44 that is beautiful but until i broke it in was way to stiff...others on here can correct me if im wrong,anyways one thing i can say for sure is that wont be your last GEC
lol get used to carrying a micro fiber cloth if you dont want a patina...they are finger print magnets,very pretty knives.....im thinking its brewery
Don't buy a Pemberton. They are beautiful but they are only about 2 and 1/2 inches long like a gorgeous toy.

These are not for regular use, they truly are decorative pieces. I bought one and it broke after using it for just eating. After they sent another but it also broke.
