Salsa for the red bike

Made me think of Pirsig’s, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

Hope you have a blast on this trip, took my wife there and 5 mins into our ride a black bear was standing on its hind legs looking over a stone wall onto the road. Have a GREAT time

Great video! If you're on the BR Parkway up into VA, and need a free RV spot for a night, let me know. I have one behind my house with full hookups in a quiet, private location!

We were just down in NC at the Pisgah National Forest. We were there the third week of June. The bad, it rained every day. The good, it rained every day and made all of the waterfalls we went there to see amazing. Go see waterfalls when it rains!

I loved the food, prep part, Kait! I would love love love to see an entire video devoted to food prep ideas. I don’t know who I think I’m feeding when my husband and I go on a trip in our van, but we have enough for at least 10 other people.

Hi you two! I’m trying to find the mods you did on the LT as I’m considering one. So aside from Joe’s must haves Scheel Mann seats and Kates Norcold in the back, what else do you consider essential? A lift? I know you talked about it but can’T seem to find the right video. Any help is appreciated.

I always loved riding my motorcycle on the BRPW, I grew up learning how to drive on that road. I'd like to add, that being a NC blue ridge native, we don't really have canyons as you say, plenty of hollars, gullies, gorges and valleys, but not really any canyons.

Hi Kait and Joe. Love what you do and the video's you make. My wife and just finished a round trip with our small trailer to Ohio from California and weather was the most exciting part of the trip and not always in a good way, but that is part of the price you pay for traveling. I am curious about your Truma fridge/cooler. Could you tell us about that?

Hi James - the Truma is similar to the Dometic fridge/coolers you see out there. We run this one off 12v in our van since it's always hot but it will also run off a standard outlet. We typically use it as a freezer as our fridge is big enough and we'll load it up before a long trip with meats, ice cream, etc.

I am so looking forward to my retirement so i can do more road trips!

How about Cinnamon or Chi-Chi? Honestly, I like the earlier suggested, Salsa😊....btw you guys know how to pack, I found that portion so interesting to watch.

Try the Wunderlich windscreen extender. One central mounting bracket Vs those 2. Much better.

Girard. This and the manual fiama has been the best one we’ve had.

You have experience with Mercedes Sprinter, Ram, and now your Ford. I have only experienced the Mercedes (Jayco Terrain) and won’t repeat due poor support from both Mercedes and my local Jayco dealer. Would you recommend the Transit built out by Storyteller? I never thought I’d consider a Ford but was very favorably impressed when a local dealers service department road-force balanced the wheels that came on my Terrain. Excellent results and service department report. Thank you… and hope yo get that 2-wheel ride on the blue ridge/skyline drive!
