    Shifts are super well made, sturdy hard souls, versatile, with all parts upgradable or replaceable with bunch of stock. Not an unibody skate that if it breaks you need to buy a whole new pair. I think theres a great engineering behind.

    I was able to buy a pair of Genesys a few months ago. They must have been sitting around for a long time waiting for a person with a short wide foot to buy them size 7s. It was cool to see this review of the new ones and learn more about my skates.

    Yes, I still don't have a helmet. I order one over 3 months ago, and it still hasn't arrived. So I cancelled the order and ordered elsewhere. Should arrive next week!

    Honestly the liner is the problem, not the boot. You could probably have stayed with the 44 and just gotten a new liner.

    I thought the genesys 1 were first then murdas,shima 4s and the stockwells. I'm looking through old daily breads now to confirm but 2003 was a long time ago 😂😂

    Bro remember the bauers ??? My friend skated those. He was a dope ass hockey player too. We where on a allstar team together. They where the aggressive inline bauers like 95.

    Could you do a segment on how to make the new remz HR 2.5 more comfortable. I pre ordered a pair and I've seen so many videos complaining about how they hurt your toes 😬😬 Or if any liners can be swapped out that work well with them 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

    Love the channel. I was looking for more info on how to size a liner to your foot and how to make sure it will fit in your boot. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey Law. Enjoyed this Episode as i allways do. Best regards regarding your bithday. What do you think about a sl skate with a Shift soulplate as one piece construction? I think this would be the perfect razors skate

    So long as the frame bolts go through into the boot you’ll be good

    Hi. I've not skated in years. I still own a pair of USD Jon Julio Throne skates. The results I found on Google suggest they are called the Headcase (they're green with a camo liner). I'm not planning on doing aggressive skating initially as I just want to build up my confidence again. The surfaces locally generally aren't the smoothest, so I was thinking of getting a triskate, but I noticed that K2 make a UFS 3x100mm frame kit. Do you think an aggressive boot will work okay with a 3x100mm setup (in terms of stability/height etc) or do you think I'm better off going with a dedicated freeride skate? I know Powerslide for instance has the Trinity system which allows the skate to sit lower on the frame for greater stability when using larger wheels.

    when is the full wall of skate reveal??? what is still missing? and would you ever consider showing us the process you go through making these anti rocker wheels?

    #backtoblading Question 🙋‍♂️….. I have the old school Solomon ST10 and I have a difficult question that is definitely geek worthy ….. When and who(company) started the UFS on aggressives? (I heard that it could have been Solomon…..it is just difficult to get exact info on the web) Please let me know when u get a chance

    @@gmzanatta thanks for the info Do u know if it was that precise model that I own the , STten street? I definitely agree with u about the support from the industry, without the experience and input of the skaters , UFS may never have existed.

    One of my favorite boots but why in the world hasn't this liner been scrapped it's hands down the worst liner ever made, just put the reign liner from the shifts in, you shouldn't get a skate that you need to replace the liner when you get because it's unskatable

    Camera angle isn’t helpful in this video and then the souls plate couldn’t be taken off so this just waited my time . I’m trying to understand the most favourable boot to change frames in the quickest time . Soul plates is a big part of that . Secondly you didn’t know why there were two sets of laces. So that’s not helpful either next time consider the details pls

  • @BacktoBlading

    @BacktoBlading

    Thanks for watching. The soul plates being replaceable has no bearing on swapping frames. These are UFS so you can just remove two bolts and replace the frames. There is no reason for the two laces. This was me making fun of the bad design choice. Please take a look at my first impressions video for more info on the skates in action.
