Thank for the entertaining video! One question tho: How did you remove the upper part as in the beginning of the video? The part that shows 1,2,3, etc.. I am trying to replace this but haven't found a proper way to remove the old one yet. Thanks!

Sorry for very late reply. The gaiter and the knob are as one so without physically pulling them apart you can't take just the numbers. If you just wanted the plastic cap with the numbers ontop of the knob they are just glued on. I guess you could just use a screw driver to lever them off and replace with new a plastic cap.

Hey man could you help by telling me where the shift interlock or neutral safety is located on a 99 A4 B5? I lost my key and need to put it in neutral to move it.

Lo Torres under the gator should be two rings you can use any tool even a screwdriver to line them up. Alternative get a mate to sit in it with their foot on the clutch so you can move it

Ernestas EJ I had a similar issue. I'd suggest trying to wedge the edges with paper to make a better fit. When I pulled back into 2nd, 4th & 6th it popped away from the front so I forced some paper under the clips and when I pushed it back in in clicked better. Hope that helps

yes maybe paper, and maybe use super glue inside? :D what do u think . afcourse if need to change that it will be problem , later

Ernestas EJ id personally stay away from glue. Just try the paper and wedge it in good. Done the trick for me

ok i tried the paper, the other rubber things add inside,but nothing gone well, so bough super glue put it inside and that still working well, i hope it will work longer. but oafcourse it will be hard taking it off if need to change again :D
