So useful! My Gaiter seems to be always popping out (gear change from 1-2 is always so stiff so not sure if it's on its way out) so I have to maintain and keep clicking it back in. Thanks!

There could be a few different reasons. Check this link: www.mistertransmission.com/noises-when-shifting/

Hi, reverse light not working, what could be the possible cause except of bulb and fuse?

It could be a faulty reverse light switch: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oGWEsa18ZLXeg6Q.html

if your rear wiper comes on in reverse (with wipers on) it's probably not the switch.

Can you remove from stick that white inner part? I'd like to put other universal knob because I don't like original one.

I think it's glued on so you'd probably have to break it off

Hey @bender22222 did you try breaking it ? I want to change it to a universal too but I’m not sure if under the white thing it’s a screw like base or just metal

The manual gear shift has suddenly gone very hard and taking lot of force for neutral to 1st. It started happening from last few days when outside temperature is touching 0C. Can you help what may be causing problem in the gear of my nissan micra K12 and how I can fix? thanks.

It might be worth changing the gearbox oil. It's also possible you have air in the clutch fluid so the clutch may not be disengaging fully and you may need to bleed the system.

@@screwsnutsandbolts thats right. I took it to the workshop and there was air entrapped which they bleed out. Its fine now. DO you have any video how to change gear box oil? Thanks.

Something gone wrong. The break fluid reservoir shows contamination. the colour of oil is dark and this was the problem left unseen from my recent clutch service. I am not sure how this could have happened. Can you answer this?

@@screwsnutsandbolts The clutch has gone bad again after service unfortunately. The mechanic said the break/clutch oil is dirty and mixing up with contamination. He said he cleaned all breaks lines and bleeded the system but it keeps coming back. I could see murky colour of the break fluid in the reservoir and was quite upset with the mechanic. As it was never like this before clutch service. I think I have to do something myself. can you advise what to check? I am stuck and dont know if replacing master cylinder will help? thank you for your guidance.
