Some time after knowing about gear 5th's appeareance, it feels rewarding having a transformation that puts peoples smiles on their faces, it truly is rewarding, all one piece fans that watched from start to now, we know how hard was luffy's life, yeah, he had joyful momments, rewarding momments and epic momments, but, it was all serious after that, plus, loved ones dissapearing on luffy's path, like bon clay or even worse, ACE. Having gear 5th is really rewarding, not only giving us legendary battles with laughs and epic animation, but also it is a reward for all those tears in the way, that's why gear 5th is one piece's most preciated reward and transformation to the public (and for luffy himself on his battles), we know we will all have a smile on our faces when luffy fights against a tough enemy

It is rewarding. It's a different reward for me, because I was one of few who was committed and believed in the theory that Sun God Nika is a Cartoon character. Ever since this Manga's Chapter came out, I immediately thought of the Cartoon effects because of the eyes popping out, the running on air with the drawings and effects that was on the Manga. A lot of people was NOT happy with my theory and I posted that theory everywhere in the OnePiece Manga YT channel and people were hating on the idea and theory. Saying it's just rubber. Now it's proven now that Vegapunk confirmed that there is no such fruit. Meaning there is no Rubber fruit ability. I am so glad this episode is out and everyone who is old enough or know anything about Cartoons back then, knows what those are. I'm glad the haters are shutting up now too. What a time to be alive to witness this form.

I just noticed that even the closing to "to be continued" is like how looney toones episode ends

Luffy for that last punch combined Bellamy’s spring with buffalos flying and hit with the awakening on kaido then switched it off and un rubberized kaido to add to the punch insane..all while all gear 5 attacks being Ryou haki coated in conquers..

I love how Luffy just has the Cheat Codes Fruit, now.

luffy fruit greatness 1. its is zoan and after awakening it increases its user strength. 2. it has paramecia properties despite being zoan (gomu gomu). 3. awakned fruit can only affect non living things but luffy fruit can affect living too. . . Conclusion: too OP

Luffy's journey really did contribute to his creativity, making the Hito hito nomi model Nika aka gum gum nomi the perfect devil fruit for him. I mean, the fruit's ability is literally to make anything you imagine come true i think the white form Luffy took inspiration from carrot the Bunny Mink Sulong form as he witnessed her turning into Sulong after looking at the moon and honestly she's the only mink he saw who transformed ,the turning the earth to rubber he got inspiration from Doflamingo And Katakuri I'll also say Shanks cause he told him his fruit is rubber playing with lightning from enel since he knows it has no effect on him, all the gears Luffy got them from Choppa's transformation points. Luffy really deserves the awakening of his fruit cause he basically imagined everything he saw interesting or fascinating and believed he could do it and he obviously did and after awakening gear fifth he knows he can make evrything come true cause he believes in himself so basically Bonneys fruit is just a weak version of Luffys

i do not understand where people get this "He can make anything he imagines" from. Nowhere in the manga or the anime has that been said. It's just people making shit up in their minds. It literally only gives him more strength and the ability to make other things rubber so he can fight with more freedom and the white form is an exclusive characteristic of Nika. Everything else like conjuring glasses is just for comedic effect by Oda.
