14 years family of 5. I'm nobody but that sounds pretty good sir
I replaced the gasket but it made so much smoke the alarm went off. Why do you need to replace the drum??
have the same problem. looking at code to $1000 in parts. any recommendations for a new washer? thinking about speed queen.

Speed Queen is a great washer. You pay more but its built like a commercial unit. Whirlpool would be my second, you can easily get parts anywhere in the US and great customer support network. Speed Queen is horrible, good product bad support.
