Yes, they're made to include everything you need to know for the exams - that said, it is worth doing further reading for deeper understanding, and practising lots of questions :)

The point about asthma wasn't completely accurate because there is increasing evidence that pollution from cars and other vehicles can cause asthma so it is related to lifestylea for example if you live near a busy road where alot of cars passing by you are more at risk of asthma
