Cartoons and sushi everywhere, got to wear a real kimono, got to play ping pong with these kids who wooped us easy, got to see a samurai soap opera being filmed, Bullet train ice cream is the best, karaoke VIP room with endless sake, I completely wore the tread off my airwalks. I also had to wear ALL my clothes home on the plane, in Summer, cuz my suitcase was full of toys and anime. This video brings back so many memories...

it’s always so depressing to think about how art and design from 20 years ago looked to the future and and now it’s just doom or obsession with boring overused retro

I remember right after I bought KYLIEFEVER2002, I searched for this song online and found the video. Was desperately trying to then find Sound Museum on CD, ended up getting it in Japan in 2018, about 15 years after I discovered the song. Towa Tei is awesome. ⭐️

She's a goddess of some sorts, heh. i've been a fan of hers for years thats the only reason I noticed, it was a very pleasant surprise being relatively new to towa, but his music is fantastic. I'd imagine most people viewing are fans of both, or at least aware of them

Well considering she said once that she lets the photographers do whatever they want with her image (which lead to what's an extremely eclectic modeling archive), it's not a stretch of the imagination that she could let Towa Tei do whatever with the lyrics and she just sang them until they sounded right. She sang a song with Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds where his character falls madly in love with hers' image and then killed her. I'm willing to bet she would sing pretty much anything as long as she sounds good and looks pretty in the MV. I would love that lifestyle personally. Nothing wrong with indulging into your body and artistic image if you can pull it off, I say.
