And the Anniversary Edition looks worse then the original on PC. I dont know mate it has enough to offer for me Personaly to be a Worthy Collectors Console and even more so for Gaming. 24:40 This particular data-point could be extremely telling. Likely, the use of an in-line device, which adds its own signature to the signal, is giving your Denon receiver exactly what it wasn't getting from the GBA Consolizer itself. Your discovery not only points to a simple solution, but also to the issue's likely cause. If that's the case, this could potentially be something that firmware alone could solve. As adding a signature to a sent signal isn't really that hard to do. It can be done via hardware (like it is with most vintage electronics), but is just as easily done through firmware (as it is in pretty much every modern device). This was super exciting to see you mention. I bout fell out of my chair, while flailing for the spacebar to pause! xD

For people who don't have soldering skills, they should consider using pogo pins. How that works is: Pogo pins are spring loaded, gold plated pins that can be soldered directly to a PCB. The kit would come with custom PCBs that have pogo pins which align with the spots you'd have to solder to. You screw the board in and it presses the pins against the spots. From the custom PCB you have wires going to the daughter board. Zero soldering required. Modular and easy to repair in case one of the pins fails.

I have mine preordered, have the money paid, and now I am just left waiting in sheer unadulterated anticipation for mine to arrive! I praise hard and I criticize hard, and when something is truly deserving of praise I gush over it, and this happens to be one of those things. The problem though is the wait. By the time I actually receive it my excitement may be all but dried up. That is why I love it when these things are already close to being stocked and ready to go. I really hate having to wait long stretches for such amazing products, only to be teased about it's greatness every couple weeks as I wait.

When I first saw this, I thought it would be useless to me as I’d just use a GameCube. But when watching this for fun, I realised that this could actually be really useful as I don’t own a GameCube or have space for one. If only it had 240p analogue output, as I would definitely buy this if it did...

Looks good and though it sounds a bit pricey another way to look at that is it's cheaper than modding most other systems and you get a lot of modern features supported for a fairly big library of games. Seems like a good place to start and try out this compounded price hobby heh. Nice to see that GBA model getting used for something since it's not very desirable to most people as dark as they are, hard to believe I bought something without a back light as late as 2001. ^_^
