Gaza pier aid deliveries have started - but is it enough? | DW News
The US military said a floating pier has been placed off the coast of Gaza to allow more humanitarian aid into the enclave. Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has said more troops would "enter Rafah" as attacks continue on the city. The southern city has housed Gaza's refugee population displaced by fighting elsewhere in the enclave. Some 600,000 people are estimated to have relocated since Israel began limited military operations in the city at the beginning of last week.

As someone that supports Israel’s right to self defense. Dw is probably the only place to find reports on Sudan.
Ehm, please help me understand - I assume the food aid is being organized by UN and is a donation - and is given to Gaza without any charge or what? If it is a donation then who/what puts on the food a price tag? "Sweet and innocent" Hamas?
it always puzzles me that, they have potentially 1.8 million “peace craving civilians” but they can’t organize against Hamas, but they can demand for more aids.

what I see is they want you to move your tanks out of their farms more than they want your scraps.
"Those planes throw food at us like dogs...." - My man if my family is starving you can throw the food at me I will feed my family. They want the food to be delivered on silver platters

The Gazans are like, "we don't want food delivered by sea or by air. It hurts our feelings". But at the same time we hear non-stop from aid agencies and the UN how the Gazans are all starving to death.

DW forgot to mention that the Rafah crossing was closed by EGYPT. Not only have they reinforced their wall, to not allow in a single Palestinian, they also close off a very important land crossing for aid deliveries. The Israeli Kerem Shalom crossing remains open.

No it was closed by Israel.Egypt has rejected Israel’s proposal to jointly coordinate the reopening and management of the Rafah crossing between Sinai and Gaza. This decision comes after Israel's recent seizure of the Gaza side of the crossing. Egypt insists that, in accordance with existing agreements, the Gaza side should be managed solely by Palestinian authorities. Also Settler thugs are destroying aid on its way to Gaza. The Kerem Shalom crossing has a Military camp now being established close to it (for the Rafah onslaught).

We hearing this now for more then 6 months that food is running out and the situation is desperate...and still it's going own...and still there is food on the market for high prices, where aid should be for free. Hamas care only for themselves and looking to worse the humanitarian crisis; for more support in the UN. The UN is helpless and failed again to fulfill is charter...shame on all.
