Must be more to the story about this guy because I don't understand why he was sentenced at all if he was just the passenger - Leaving the scene of an accident seems like it would only apply to the driver who caused it unless this guy did something to cause the accident somehow.

He is an accomplice and he was the adult in the situation. He also was out on bond for other crimes. Perhaps u think criminals should be coddled.

@@alesia912 Perhaps you need to make your entire comment make sense besides the part you said about him allegedly being out of jail on bond - Being a PASSENGER in a car does not automatically make someone an "accomplice" or a "criminal" by default, and the age of the driver by comparison means nothing. The DRIVER is the only person in control, unless there's more to the story like I said.

He was a criminal out on bond recording another crime being committed which led to the death of a child. I dont blame you, im sure ur mom drank while pregnant with you.

All he tried to do was cause trouble and they stole The car together? It’s wasn’t either of there car! He stole the car and he decided to get in and run on foot after! The sentence of 8-15 years was handed down for Kassab's charges of manslaughter, reckless driving and first-degree fleeing and eluding, and 5-10 years for second-degree fleeing and eluding - which will be served concurrently as required by law.

​@@135incorporated9Exactly. Consecutive sentences would have applied to the first charge only in the event that Cora had succumbed to her injuries as poor Piper did. The pain and loss suffered by the Carruthers are immeasurable.

Horrible job being a defense lawyer, selling your soul to defend a monster.

So sad a beautiful young lady's life was taken too early, A young man will spend so many years behind the bars, and guilt for the rest of his life.

Maybe say he’s very very sorry for what he did and what he chose to do. We’ve all been around long enough to see the ads what drug driving does would help if this was all my fault because I chose to drink and drive or take drugs and drive whatever the case may have been. Just a thought.

Mary doesn't save you from Hell. She gave birth, that's it, she is mentioned 17 times in the Bible. If God wanted her to be worshiped He world have told us in His Word. Read the Bible son. Start praying to Jesus...He and He alone is the ONLY ONE that goes to the Father for you. Only Jesus can save you. Otherwise God didnt even need to create Jesus, Mary could have done the job.
