The two shot makes it pretty clear that interviewer and Adani aren't even sitting directly in front of each other. Space has been cleverly created for the teleprompter. And even if it wasn't clear from the visual, the audio alone speaks volumes about the answers being read out by adani. Despite all that, off the mark english pronunciations give it away. Signs are many. Quite a goof up by Asia's richest and world's third richest person.
Instead of stressing about the format of an interview, focus on the meaningful content that is being shared. Most of the world uses scripts for interviews.

A himalyan blunder by a richest man of India. This was his first national interview which was arranged, fake and faaar away from the facts. Questions & answers were so crafted that his image resembles a 'Perfect, God fearing kind hearted ' ordinary businessman. His praise for his 'mai baap' (modiji) was really heart touching. Hope he gives no more prepared interviews lest next questions would be on how he eats mangoes !
