Very good information. The only thing I would suggest is do it on concrete and use a creeper for moving around. Much easier.

Scribe it off of the keel ,no tape or extra work simple use a protractor or measure a small piece of cardboard, run it along the keel on either side with your marker of choice.

Great video. Had a covert spinnerbait break at the line tie this sat. On 5th keeper. Need to order more cause it was the only one I had and they were wearing it out.

Jason I ordered my X21 last month and I am expecting to see it late may early June! Would like to know what size Keel shield your running (Length) TH sells several sizes, and the measurement from the point of the running light to start point if possible.. appreciate any response and I am excited to get myself one of these mean machines even tho it's gonna be alot more like last year's design with a few new concepts..first new boat...really hoping to get those new seats 😬😬😬

My keel guard came loose after 2 yrs. How do i re attach?

You can buy just the 3M Auto Molding Tape that has the peel off just like Jason's on both sides. Depending how loose yours is, you may get by with just doing the outer edge, or completely remove your guard, and start over following the same steps as Jason did. The tape is available in several different widths.

Installing is easy... the sucky part if one that gets a bubble and unsticks in an area and needing to fix it.... been there.... sucks

Quick question. If you put this on so that the paint doesn't get scratched up, but you scratch the paint up before application what is the point of this then?

The bottom of the lake will scratch all the paint right off down to bare metal. Instead, he's just scuffing the surface of the clear coat for better adhesion. If you were to put new clear coat back over where he scuffed you would never know he scuffed it.

@@SponsoredByMeFishing yep but you wouldn't even need to put another clear coat on you would only need to buff it out . that scuff pad doesn't get below/behind the clear coat. Buff with Rubbing Compound. I want one on my Ranger RT 188 but bit to high for me now. Wonder how that Rhino Liner stuff would do?? That stuff that you can roll or paint into bed of truck??

snake oil. most manufacturers would be insulted if you called them and asked about needing this product. like a transom saver. trailering your boat is the easiest thing your transom does. when you catch air at 60 mph and your prop bites again ate 6000 rpm, and your worried about your outboard on a trailer and 75 doing nothing? better yet, you know what your transom does when your boat isnt being towed at 60 mph? it pushes it at 60 mph.
