The yarrow flowers just started blooming, this is the best time to gather the whole plant, before the leaves start to brown. Yarrow has so many uses, we like to dry it so we can use it throughout the year. We will also be using it to make a wound powder to stop bleeding, so come join us as we gather this wonderful plant.

In this case, Yarrow does have a few look-a-likes, one of which is very poisonous, Poison Hemlock, which does bloom at the same time.
