I just built my first custom keyboard using the Gateron Smoothie switches, and they feel/sound excellent to type on. Would highly recommend.

Smoothies are definitely a favorite of mine these days. Nice tight housing and very minimal stem wobble with nice creamy sound and smooth actuation.

Even though it's a full POM switch, it's not that loud compare to NK Cream. And I also think the switch is not that loud compare to HMX switches either. You can use the switch in office environment just fine, unless your office is too quiet like "Silen Hill", lol.

I have heard gateron switches are scratchy. I am confused between akko Cream yellow pro or this. I am looking for creamy to thoccy sound while also not being scratchy to type on my monsgeek m1.

Akko are more scratchy Akko needs lubing Get gateron instead

One thing that I don't like about Smoothie is that: they cling very tight to the Plate/PCB, took me a solid 30 minutes to dissemble them out of my Tofu FA keyboard.

My man didn't mention how the smoothies have basically no stem wobble - lowest from any switch I've tried stock

for me these smoothies are kinda comparable to a modern nk cream, much more smoother but with the similar sound signature

Nah dude I feel like they're really thin sounding. I've tried these on budget and high end boards. I wish they didn't sound that way.
