Common causes are
1. H pylori infection
2. Pain killer intake
3. Liver and kidney problems
4. Smoking and alcohol
Symptoms
1. Upper abdomen pain
2. Vomiting
3. Bleeding from mouth
4. Black stool
Endoscopy : Purpose of endoscopy is
1. To diagnose ulcer
2. To rule out ulcer due to cancer
3. To take biopsy for h pylori
Treatment
1. 2 weeks antibiotics course
2. Medications which reduce acid

Sir, pranaam. I am Haradhan Kr Ghosh from Jharkhand. Sir, on 19 August, 2023 a colonoscopic banding was done at AIG Hyderabad after the diagnosis of large internal haemmorhoid. An 'antral Gastritis' also was diagnosed. After taking the prescribed medication, I am not feeling relief and there is still rectal bleeding now and then. How can I overcome, sir ?
