=====================
A gas dehydration system is used by oil and gas producers to dehydrate natural gas into a state where it can be sold downstream in the oil and gas production process. In this video, Mark follows the pipes around a gas dehydration system and explains what each piece of equipment is doing to process the gas.
From the gas dehydration system inlet, we look at the three-valve manifold on the contactor tower, as well as the trays, bubble caps and operation of the absorber. Looking at the reboiler skid, we identify the reboiler, surge tank, y-strainer, glycol pump and check valve. We follow the pipes as the rich, wet glycol and dry, lean glycol move through the system of heat exchangers, flash separator, still column and BTEX elimination system.

Hi from Russia, I'm study English (oil and gas) for my job and your video help me, thanks more! Chanl cool 😎👌
Wonderful video
As a welder i have plumbed alot of locations for equipment but never really knew what it all did. Awsome info.

Are you an engineer ????
amazing info!!!thank u sir from argentina.
Thank you.
its great good luck
Very interesting video. one question: how does it work your BTEX trap? is it just a condenser+ separator or there is something more? the design looks very compact I like it very much.
Make a full animation from Slug catcher to Compressors . Thank you 🔥

I am process engineer . This is so amazing and well explained . Very Good sir ❤👍
Hello Kimray, instead of two pumps, what would've been the cost-benefit analysis of using a VFD with the first pump and not buying the smaller one?
@KimrayInc
Жыл бұрын
Two pumps were used because of the varying gas flow rates between the winter and summer. In the summer months, the required glycol flow rate is below the minimum stall point of the larger pump. Our energy exchange pumps' glycol output or speed can be adjusted with their needle valves. VFD’s (variable frequency drives) are used to control the speed electric glycol pump.
Sir! Can you send me the layout of the process as pdf
Do they used activated carbon at the filter?

Yes, activated carbon is used in the carbon filter.
Hey ;) spannende Erklärung! Danke... ✌
Good information,but plant equipment show is very old model.
