Jackson is underestimated. He has a lot of talent, his body language is very good. An intelligent, technical striker who never backs down from the tasks ahead. He can pull the team along and go where it hurts. There is little confidence in Chelsea, but they are a young team that can achieve a lot once they come together. A coach like Pochettino is exactly the right person. With patience and confidence in his players.

Ironically Chelsea have not been known to have patience and give time for their managers to be successful over recent years. It will be interesting to see this time if they decide to give Poch the time needed to grow this chelsea squad into a team, with good chemistry. Or will they chop him soon and have to start fresh again as they often do.

I’m a Chelsea fan and I can understand the laughter, I’ve done the same for other clubs, Arsenal were genuinely worrying a few seasons ago. But please for the love of god let’s support this man and give him time. I know Leeds are in the Championship but they came out wanting to grab it by the throat tonight, we came out on top and we showed some really good moments tonight… There were moments I was screaming at the team, Gusto (who I love), Chabaloah (also another one of my favourites). But the defensive CB’s are constantly changing. Once we get settled I think we’ll be top 4/5 again. If we sack him then we’re genuinely f*****d. Poch needs time and the lads showed real character tonight to come back and win it. Let’s just support and take the laughter on the chin.

As a Liverpool fan, this is the only comment that I feel I agree with. He obviously needs more time for everything to gel/click. Would I have him as Liverpools next manager? No! But it doesn't mean he's not a great fit for a completely different club like Chelsea. Chelsea could of easily won the final on Sunday but so could of Liverpool. I just think he needs more time and a lot more support in the media to then move forward. Time is something Premier League managers don't seem to have enough of these days. Could be worse, though. Could be losing Klopp at the end of the season

I can see them intentionally giving up possession and space, letting Chelsea come on, with a low block setup to counter quickly as you have nobody who really plays between the lines other than palmer so Brentford is a tough tough game good luck

Klopp, Arteta and Pep, each manager has had many years at their club, these are the clubs competing for the title, Tuchel was in the question at one point in his season but unforeseen circumstances pushed him out early and Chelsea as a whole have been completely changed, not necessarily for the worst but definitely will need longer to settle. Players need to gel with each other in this new league and new team. Also there needs to be a culture set up where the managers jobs are more secure than the players, therefore they will know the hierarchy and understand the need to be at top level at all times.

Klopp and Pep had multiple league titles before they joined. Pochettino won nothing with Spurs for 5+ years, then went on to have the worst winning percentage in PSG last 11 years. Worse than Galtier and Laurent Blanc. Reminder he had Messi in his team. Arteta won an FA Cup within 6 months of appointment; he also was already Arsenal connected (ex-captain). Pochettino and Chelsea are like oil and water.

@@hnaku8748 Kloop literally won 1 league title, same as Poch and i think 1 or 2 cups, same as Poch before Liverpool. Pep is a whole different situation cos of how we came up. As for Poch, people need to stop using not winning anything at spurs against him, he did so much with little to no investment from the club cos they were building their stadium and he still got them into finals, none of which they were favourites for. He's got faults and he may not be the solution yet but he deserves at least another season. Some managers need the right club to win and maybe Chelsea are Poch's cos honestly with their injury record and the number of new players who are mostly kids, it would be amazing if this year ended up a success. Like he said, 10 to 12 players out at any given time since the start of the season...that's insane!! And at least half of them are starters but somehow he's to blame for a bunch of kids who he still needs to develop, still learning each other and learning what he wants from them not competing with clubs who have been building their structure and system with their players and managers for years longer than this Chelsea. Please let's be objective for a minute. No manager or club in football history including Pep and Klopp have ever been in this situation so you can't say they would handle it better cos we have nothing to compare with

This narrative around Chelsea's spending has been there since the start of the season. It is nothing more than an apparent attempt at trolling. To criticise a team's performance based on how much money they have cost is very unfair to the players. The fact that Chelsea over paid for them does not change the football. These are good young players. Do you think Mo salah or KDB will play differently if they cost more? As Poch said, it's a young team and it takes time.

Because it's the easiest thing for them to do. Whether ppl agree or not about the team overhaul doesn't change the fact that they're all new to each other with most coming coming from a new league. Not to mention the injuries which forces other players having to play in different positions to fill in the gaps.

Why are people questioning the line up? They just played a final on Sunday, and it’s a lower league team in the cup. Just because it is Chelsea, people are entitled to question it, right?
