There are not enough words to describe this man, and how hard he works for our military, their families, and for First Responders. He's a hero, a real American hero!

My Great Uncles (3 of them) and Grandfather served in WWII, 3 came home, one being my Grandfather or I may not be here. I was privileged to sit with Coleman, a Tank Commander who saw both North Africa and Normandy, and hear his story. They came home, worked to support their family, and did all they could to just be good men, and all were. Coleman, after facing hell, also lost a son in the 1960's, but was still a good man, just doing what he had to in life. We are losing this generation daily, and in that loss, we are losing history. Thank you, Gary, for all you do, for Veterans, First Responders, and for your work with the WWII Museum, which I hope to visit soon, to preserve our history.

I love how Gary is an "honorary" military man. Gary, even though you missed Vietnam by a couple of years, why didn't you still join the military that you appreciate so much. Kind of like doing the talk without doing the walk. Must be nice being an "honorary" this and that and play wannabe soldier.

I'm not sure If there isn't something that is keeping him from joining the military but this is his way of giving back. I don't see the reason why you're so bitter about it. He walks the walk about as well as anybody can that has never worn the uniform.

@@louistaplin4665 Who's "bitter" ? I'm just saying he's a patriotic wannabe. So unless he had some kind of deferment keeping him from joining the military (that he seems to identify with)...he's a guy who does the talk without the walk.
