I just didn't care about Commissioner Gordon until he did it. Now he's an archetype for me.

+Jennifer Grove (Dark Moon) I agree, he is the definitive live action of James Gordon, before that for the only other definitve Gordon was Bob hastings of the animated series.

Jeffery Wright will likely give us another strong Gordon. J.k Simmons could of been great if the writing had been in any way digestible and that includes the Synder Cut.

To the person who said Gary playing Gordon was a waste of his acting skills....really? I think he did a brilliant job portraying Miller's Year One Gordon...and he certainly looked the part, as drawn by David Mazzuchelli.

This is actually the BEST look he ever got. Even my mom says that THIS is more that hotsomeness! (hot+awsome)

great actor Gary Oldman. He is such a great character actor it just seems such a waste him playing commissioner Gordon. He'd be brilliant as any of the baddies. He has such explosive power like Anthony Hopkins just wish h'ed been a bigger character.

I like Gary and love listening to him, though the interviewer was slightly annoying :/

actually Bale and Gary became close friends in real life Bale said that in many interviews and he calls him for advice

kinda funny but depp loooks good for his age!
