Daniel Kemnitz that’s a fair call, except that every time he trains a Robin and they start to think they don’t need to do exactly what Batman says, the Robin will get in a fight and there’ll be collateral damage where someone dies as a result of Robin disarming someone or “insert indirect plot action here”. At this point Batman swoops in and finishes the fight and blames Robin for being brash/over-eager/cocky and killing “random NPC”. This is all to remind everyone that Batman. Doesn’t. Kill. Ever.

@@marty48 Maybe later, but initially said that he killed incidentally "by proxy" so that it didn't matter. That being said there was a lot of complaints that Batfleck killed, whereas nobody seemed to care about blowing up the temple in Begins. I think the Burton series had an effect on the public's response to Batman killing, which seems strangely muted unless the film isn't good (Batman V Superman).

To each their own if they like it or not, I think one of the main reasons is that Batfleck is openly aware of his killings, whereas the other 2 don't really address the murders.

@@kellnola tbh, I think we are failing to realize that the citizens of Gotham have always been crazy. So small doses like boiling water and whatnot wouldn’t affect them. It would take ALL the water evaporating en masse at once for this to really affect them properly.

A pitch meeting for kickass 1 and 2 would be tight

Its very interesting the different personalities of the Executive. Sometimes he's judging a story, whether or not its a good idea, but in this meeting for example, he's almost a listener, accepting it for what it already is. Just an interesting note.

Batman: *see the homeless man who he gave his coat* Batman: "That coat is tight" Batman: *disappears* Homeless man: *confused*

the condensed milk bit makes me laugh REALLY hard because it takes such a weird turn... "not until you've brushed mother's hair, not until you've brushed it well!" jesus christ what? lolll

I LOVE IT. I LOVE THE QUICK EDITING, THE CHIPPER TONE, THE SMILING, AND THE INSIGHTS INTO THE PARTS THAT DON'T MAKE SENSE.

😎I’m an old American and the only thing I ever used condensed milk in was coffee. It saved adding sugar. Of course now we don’t use evil sugar and I’m lactose intolerant so...

I always stop what i'm doing to watch these videos. It's barely an inconvenience.

@@joshuastroupe1999 It does. A perfect guy is so old. Modern depictions of characters can't be perfect anymore. The Amazing Spider-Man duology has its fair share of problems. But tone was far from it in fact I appreciate the darker take on Spider-Man.

I love how amazingly consistant these pitches are.

"And where is the Batman?" "He's at home, washing his." "Tight!"

“He didn’t kill them, the explosion did.” 🤣. Gravity killed Two Face too. The truck crash killed Talia. Batman won’t kill, but he doesn’t have to save, didn’t use that for that kid and he became King Joffrey 😝

I've watched nearly all of the pitch meetings so far and this one is by far the best imo. You can tell because people are quoting everything EXCEPT "super easy, barely an inconvenience"

You can tell how much they love it, by how little they actually attack the movie. They take it really easy.

Binging these is the best part of my day

I love how the fact that the human body is 70% water never figures into the whole "vaporize all the water" plan.

The opera thing makes sense, it’s one of the two big treatments for phobias. You ‘flood’ the person with the source of their fear. It’s not for every client though _(you call patients with mental disorders “clients” because it's more respectful),_ and Thomas recognised it wasn’t working.

Typically with Exposure Therapy, you don't flood the patient, that's just going to cause more trauma (obviously). You expose them in small doses to get them close to panic, but then let them sit there for a bit while they deal with the small response. Then session after session, you increase the "Dosage" of the experience until the person no longer has a phobia.
