It’s his Valencia ptsd kicking in, he’s on record multiple times saying when things were tailspinning out of control for him in Spain that he was chopping and changing the team and formation every match, when he should have stuck to establishing a style of playing and a best 11. Neville is criticising Ole in his own way, but you have to remember his attitude as a player would have been one of taking maximum responsibility on himself and his teammates, so it’s entirely natural for him to draw attention to the players role in sorting out the current problems.

I sort of know what you mean but yesterday was far more about and said far more about Utd than it did Liverpool. We all know Liverpool are the best team in the country at the moment along with City but yesterday dispite a hattrick for Salah and a 5-0 win at Old Trafford, it wasn't even anywhere near Liverpool's top five performances of the season so far. Utd were were so incredibly awful and setup to cause self inflicted damage all Liverpool had to do was field 11 players and have a go. None of their goals were particularly special, none of the build up play was worth mentioning or getting excited over, it was like a training match against a bunch of useless school boys. There are no words left to describe how shockingly bad Utd are under Ole now, even Liverpool looked a bit uncomfortable going for many more goals after it reached 5-0. Too easy is the understatement of the century.

Man u deserve this for raising pogba's arm in place of mourinho's. I said this somewhere before that if pogba was sold, whoever the replacement would have been will have done much better for the team. Lukaku would have stayed in the team instead of rashford crying to ole about not being a center forward which ended in lukaku's exit to inter. Fred sold, martial sold, mata sold, de gea would not have been crap like during ole's era, defence would have been much much better. Bruno would still have come in and done even more wonders. As the entitled fans that we are, we could have been whining about the style of football not being great despite winning some silverware. Maybe even the major trophies. Now, we are worried about our defence being crap and conceding so many goals and always praying to outscore the opponent and not expecting to win any games. I would rather have the worries of having mourinho as manager instead of the ole masterclass/disasterclass coin flip.

It's just a football panel that exists for entertainment purposes. Bias is allowed and in fact encouraged to create "heated arguments", or in other words, to entertain.

@@temibusari4848 Believe it or not, 90% of managers end up getting sacked at clubs. That’s football. He did very well at Spurs at the start, he was literally top of the league, dominating. The problem was he didn’t have the squad and had to over play his best players. Naturally there was a drop off. He still got them to a final, after not getting backed by a greedy owner, same with Poch. At Chelsea and Real Madrid he had HUGE success so I’m not sure why you’d bring up those? Very strange.

He is a United legend because of his time as a player, and he's had very good periods as a manager. But, given the huge talent he has at his disposal, he is not doing anywhere near well enough and must leave.

I agree, just cos you're a legend as a player it doesn't make you a great manager. Ole needs experience, he can't manage the ego's in the dressing room. This needs expertise like Sir Alex, Poch and the likes. Manchester United needs an experienced manager, who doesn't put player's before the club. At the moment Ronaldo is bigger than the team and the club. The disrespect shown to Cavani and Bruno has definitely led or caused or to an extent contributed to what United is today.

It's not even about defending him, you don't see the big picture. Sacking Ole doesn't change anything, we need a Sir AF level manager, yes Ole ain't that. But there is no one of that caliber to come in... Zidane? Nope, he doesn't want to come to the prem.... Conte? Nope, not a good long time manager. Also it's not just the manager, it's the players too they aren't doing there part either. We will never have what we had before or find a Sir AF manager ever again. Also Pogba will leave in the summer, and we will need to rebuild the midfield.

Tbh we won 3-2 against Liverpool without him,we finished 3rd which seems highly unlikely this season again without Ronaldo,ofc ole is the bigger part of the problem but we never needed him just to bench Cavani who was excellent. It's not about individual stats, cr7 doesn't do anything outside the box. Cavani does a lot of work and is lethal in the box as well. The last thing this team needed is to play around an individual that too a striker and if you know football then you'd agree that you can't play around a striker

In all honesty, I think man utd would be a great challenge for a manager. You've things to fix, and you've players to fix that. You have to be a manager who can adapt your style and fit this crop of players and make them winners.

The Ex United players never accept that Ole is the reason behind United's poor performance and they will always blame the players rather than Ole's poor tactics 😴 Even if you include Messi and Ronaldo on their prime under Ole, they wouldn't win big matches.

No Keane today which is rare but I’d say his heart would’ve stopped a few times seeing that abysmal display.

The problem is the manager/coach and his coaching staff. David Moyes, LVG and Jose Mourinho all had worse teams than OGS and they still ended getting slated by the British media and eventually got the sack. You can't blame the players, It's all on the manager. Ole has some of the best players at his disposal now and he still refuses to play them.

With ronaldo we have essentially just signed a better cavani cause really he’s just a box striker too now. The fact we didn’t address the two midfield roles in the summer is the real crime
