I've seen a lot of covers of this song ... this is undoubtedly the best, sound, voice, style, time, band ... better not possible.

just another take on the song. nobody plays any jimi hendrix without add libbing all over it or singing like they are john mayor or something.

That solo
This is such a monster concert with a brilliant Gary and backing band. What can you say when you see such phenomenal artists. Speechless. Post more of Gary and crew. History is richer for us knowing about their talent!!

Rock music owes a lot to Hendrix, but not for how good he was, it was the WAY he played, he changed the way guitarists used their instruments. He was very quickly surpassed by much better guitarists, and no one can play his songs better than GM or SRV.

Good cover version but the affectation and poetic license in the voice phrasing is a bit overdone.
I prefer Johnny A's version.
It would have sounded better with Mitch Mitchell...
