    The difference between Gary Moore and every other guitarist, you can feel it physically when Gary plays.

    that´s so true, I don´t know any other that can do that. No only physically, but Gary goes right into my soul and hearth and yes, also right now, I know this song for decades, but it just gave me goosebumps all over and also I could feel where my heart is right now. Man this guy was so special! RIP Gary.

    The GREATEST and I mean the GREATEST guitarist that has walked the planet. The only player that gives me chills every time I listen to him. There are some fantastic players around who are also my favourites but this man is No1 in my opinion.

    The bass player in this video, Bob Daisley, has worked with many great guitar players over his many years of rocking on this planet. He was asked in an interview about Gary's playing, his reply was "Gary was brilliant, he was the Jack Of All Trades, and Master Of Them All of guitar players". There's live footage on here of his days in Colosseum II (1977/78), the track The Inquisition is just mind blowing. Gary Moore and Scott Gorham playing Black Rose live will make smile so much, you can feel the love for their old friend Phil Lynott in their playing, and from the crowd. Watching you seeing his playing for first time, is just like when I was a teenager and went to his concerts. Keep going with Gary's career buddy, it's a rabbit hole of musical genius.

    Thank you for this video. I am a guitar player since 1968. My favorite electric guitar players are Jimi Hendrix and Gary Moore. They are so much more than guitar players. Song writers, vocalists, improvisational masters and more, that changed music in their time and will continue to do so in the future.

    I recently discover Gary Moore. From my humble point of view he is, along with Ray Vaughan, the best guitar blues player. Moreover, he also played metal and jazz. In terms of energy was similar to SRV. But his vibrato, vocals, guitar technique and emotion were even superior. Simply amazing!

  • @yvoheaton6402
    @yvoheaton6402 Жыл бұрын

    When you close your eyes and hear the perfection with which he plays. The guitar sings the sweetest notes you will ever hear. His vibrato technique is unsurpassed. And then he sings too! In one hundred years people will look back in wonder and awe. There will never be another like him. I consider myself blessed to have seen him play live a number of times over my life. To have lived as Moore, Clapton, Green, Kossoff, and Young graced the boards is unique and will never be repeated.

  • @ployshihashick8240

    I agree. Gary used several styles of vibrato and knew just which style to use, and when to use it. I won't mention names, but the guitarists that use that wide, in-your-face vibrato technique on everything just irk me to no end.
