i saw him in Montreux Live 1990. .. he makes the guitar sing and i fall in love with him... my ex husband said he is not good looking at all and i said... he is my type of guy

I agree with you. He's handsome, but I would suggest his teeth be fixed so everyone can see that, and probably have a better diet ❤

Absolutely perfect . How sad not to have him playing anymore . The best . Life is empty without Gary and Jimmy and Greeny is still there but not like he used to be. Gary was great til the end.

As a kid, I used to listen to this all the time with my headphones on while I cuddled with my awesome Sheltie "Thunder." I thought the lyrics were "Empty Rooms, Where We Learn To Live With Thunder"...I still think I was right...because I was at the time...that's what I heard on the record anyway.

I've read someone said about the guitar being stolen. It's true one of his guitars did get stolen and later on was returned to Interpol after the thief realised who's guitar it was.

Indeed it did. It was his 61 Fiesta red strat. Hence why on the Ireland video he's using a white 62 reissue - which he got to replace the red one while it was 'missing'

Eric Clapton's Les Paul was stolen as well. There was a legend for years that it ended up in the hands of Bernie Marsen but eventually he admitted it wasn't true.

This is weird This was at Gold Diggers club in Chippenham Wiltshire UK, i was there on both occasions, but the mix, video and guitar are diffrent on this version than the one recorded on BBC sight and sound, can only presume that this was recorded a week later when i was also there as the guitar parts are shorter, Poster can you please tell me where this came from?

I like vai and satriani but they don't come close to moore for feeling and soul when playing the guitar, its not all about speed and fast runs.
