This reaction says it all two people with a love of music get to hear a sample of the greatest rock band ever, in my humble opinion 😂
Gary Moore is an absolute legend and i will never get bored hearing him play
God we miss Gary Moore and Phil Lynott so much ... they made this world a better place with their music.

Oeff….tears in my eyes…. Emotional Tribute to Phil… he was a “Black Rose” as well🙏🏻
Myself and my son were at that concert, I won two tickets on a radio quiz, incredible night I'll never forget it.
Brian Downey killing it on the drums because he always does, and making it look like the easiest thing in the world.

The most underrated drummer in rock history. He could play everything and did it perfectly. Famously, on Live and Dangerous, he was one of two band members (the other was Robbo) who didn't overdub parts for the album, as he was like a human metronome. Flawless.

The twin instrumental guitar solo's in this song are legendary......legendary I tells ya!
My wife and I were at this show 2005, And the unveiling of Phil Lynots statue..It was an Amazing time ✅🍀🎸🎶
The dual guitar sound was what made Thin Lizzy so great and they were equally good live as they were on the albums.
Scott Gorham[guitar] and Brian Downey[drums] were also in Thin Lizzy, as was Gary for a while.
Tell me the legends of long ago.....Love every second of this. RIP Phil & Gary.
Roisin Dubh , the legend of the black rose , a rose that has never existed ❤️, saw Lizzy so many times, live and dangerous tour was something else
That entire album of Thin Lizzy The legend of the Black Rose is an epic album and my all time favotite from 1979 pure awesome classic. FYI the sunburst Gibson Les Paul guitar Gary is playing is now owned by Kirk Hammet of Metallica and said he paid a pretty penny to get a hold of his classic guitar

That Les Paul isn’t Greeny, it’s Stripe.

Yes the "Greenie" is the one owned by Kirk. It would be interesting to know what became of his other guitars. Maybe kept by his son Jack who is also a great guitarist!
If Lizzy as a band and the various members aren't the absolute pinnacle of what defines a rock band then I don't know who is. Greatest lyricist, greatest guitarists, greatest drummer, of all time and greatest, tightest, professional, together band of all time. They just knock spots off all other bands.
I don't know if they started it but thin Lizzy sure perfected the dual guitar leads and octave apart. And Brian Downey is an exceptional drummer.

Gary said on bbc radio was Wishbone Ash inspired them with twins. But Gary said ‘ we took it and rocked it.’ Prior to that was maybe The Shadows?
This was a great concert. Black Rose was the only full album that Thin Lizzy made with Gary as a full time member. Although he contributed to several others. Indeed, when Gary first left the band, Phil was quoted as saying that he had two get two guitarists to replace him because he was so good! I would really love to see your reaction to some of Gary's Rock songs. I'll post some links to some from the Live in Stockholm Sweden concert. Miss Gary so much. He was simply the best! Thank you.

When Eric Bell left Phil was left with no guitar player and that's another reason he wanted two in case on of them all of a sudden dropped out. Eric Bell left with no explanation after a gig. Gary Moore also left first time all of a sudden just like last time then in the middle of a tour.
They were to erect a statue of Phil Lynott in central Dublin and Gary asked Brian Downey, Eric Bell, Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham if there was gonna be a tribute concert to honor Phil's memory. The guys said no not as far we know then Gary said well let's do it then!! This song is like "best of Ireland since it's based on old traditional Irish songs and stories/legends then towards the end of the song several Irish (including North Ireland) writers, musicians who were famous outside Ireland in the late '70s.
Thank you so much for featuring Thin Lizzy, I'm so moved to tears Phil Lynott (The Rocker) is an important page of my youth He was such a charmer He and Gary Moore Scott Gorham are also very special to me This song is also called the second Irish national anthem
This is my favourite Wolf Hunterz reaction so far and I've been with you guys since Day One of these videos. Thin Lizzy is my band, so to see you two loving this song performance warms my heart. Great job you two, do more Thin Lizzy and you won't regret it. 😎
One of the wolf hunterz best choices....👍
Check out 'Still In Love With You' from the same concert, Brian Robertson, another lead guitarist who played with Scott, will blow your mind.
It's such a joy to see those old comrades honoring their late friend and band leader. Phil and Brian we're the perfect bass-drum duo that just knew how to attract the best super guitarists on the scene. And among all those greats Scott and Gary were the best of the best. In my oppinion there has never been a better twin guitar than those two together and We'll never see the likes of them again. Please remember that before this night they haven't played together regulary for 25 years and it took just a few seconds to be back in sync. There are two more songs from the show that they play together "Cowboy song" and "The boys are back in town". I highly recomend you to watch it. It's phenomenal.
RIP Gary! 😀🎶🎸
So Many Great guitarists in this band, and of course, I had all of Gary Moore's solo albums as I saw him as an artists that totally ripped it on guitar as well. Scott Gorham , ROBO Brian Robertson, Snowy White even, need the respect that they stepped in, and played "Twin Guitar" in an awesome band... Some guys do not want to compete, but Phil, A man of color (I hope this is accepted) was the leader, here in the 70's and he was the Boss, He wrote the songs, and he said, I need two "Dudes" to bring it on guitar as I am singing, playing melody, rhythm on Bass. You guys "Shred" on Guitar and sing backgrounds sometimes. Most underrated band in History Thin Lizzy, I never saw them as a headliner in the USA , but damn Right, if they were on the bill, I was Front Row. RIP, Phil, Gary, your legacy is secure here.....
Great take from the tribute to Phil Lynott, who wrote this song...Gary was in the band, and recorded on the actual album. Might be worth reacting to the original.
When the two guitarists were playing solo together they were playing in harmony, just like a backup singer sings the same as the lead singer but starting in a different register or starting note to create an almost chordal sound. They are two wicked guitarists..
Gary Moore is a pure guitar legend, way better than many of the so-called greats, and he would certainly put many to shame. So good to see him teaming up with his ex-Lizzy band mates Scott Gorham (who himself is no slouch on the guitar)and Brian Downey on drums. Awesome, awesome reaction
Gary was phenomenal. Black Rose is a great album.
Not even the impeccable John Sykes could play the fast part like Gary does. Simply amazing.
@TheTruth-pl3mk

True, it always tripped him up. John is a big hero of mine, every bit as much as Gary, so I like to give him the benefit of the doubt. He probably never really practiced it and tried to do it by ear. Sometimes you can get away with that approach but this song is one you really need to put effort into.

Also, I feel Im in the minority on this but, I prefer Sykes take on Still In Love With You from the Life/Live album than what many consider to be the definitive version on Live & Dangerous. Which funny enough the original version of the solo was written by Gary Moore lol
@Flintbox

Certainly doesn't help that any example I've seen of Sykes playing it, the tempo is much faster than the record or this
'Live And Dangerous' has got to be one of the greatest 'live' albums ever. The separate guitars coming out of each speaker/headphone with Philo's bass and Brian's drums front and centre. Awesome sound.
Can't watch this without tearing up love this
The amazing Gary Moore and Scott gorham and Brian Downey together been a Gary Moore and Thin lizzy fan for years Rip Gary Moore and Phil lynott
I remember when I first saw this I was so happy I cried seeing my hero's back on stage Wow!!!!
Such an amazing tribute. The only guy missing center stage was Phil Lynott. They did an amazing tribute.
ohh goose bumps!
Gary Moore will never disappoint. Or Thin Lizzy for that matter.

In Irish /gaelic it's Roisin Dubh, pronounced rooseen duv... One of the best live venues in Ireland is called Roisin Dubh... Phil and Gary live on.
this is just one song from the concert. The whole tribute was amazing
Absolutely amazing so many irish songs done by two guitar greats
Definitely need to react to Gary Moore Empty rooms live and The Loner from live in Stockholm, simply amazing.
I Truly hope you listen to the studio version of this song from Lizzy with Phil's vocals and the Amazing very long Solos and Irish jigging on the Guitars !! ☺🎤🎸🎶🎸🎼👍
You should watch / react to the whole gig, awesome ! Scott Gorham was in Thin Lizzy when I was a kid (I'm 53 now) and had almost waist-length hair, it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen him playing his Strat back then . . . .

one of the greatest songs ever... ever... ever...
INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE!!!
That’s Celtic sounds right there. Usually played with bagpipes.
Gary was one of the lead guitarist of bin Lizzy
Class
How are you guys from South Wales in the UK love your blog keep it up
Gary Moore is irelands Jeff beck 2 of the greatest indisputable!!!!!
From this same show, check out "The Cowboy Song." Just KILLER!! Also, Thin LIzzy "Thunder and Lightning" with John Sykes on guitar...when Lizzy turned metal!
Woooooooow
This song when Phil Lynott sang it was titled Róisín Dubh which is the Gaelic name for it. It’s a political Irish song. Google it.
You really need to review Don't believe a word from the same concert, you won't regret it.
Just the best ❤
Now you have to review Emerald it's on the Same album but the guest guitarist is Brian Robertson who was also a Thin Lizzy regular
Great tribute to the Irish Black rose
Thin Lizzy best band twin lead guitar ever!
I was at this concert.... what a night..
Celtic Chaos! I saw this guitar duo play this very song in '78 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. AC/DC was the warm-up act. Thin Lizzy was fantastic! I saw Led Zeppelin a year earlier at the Chicago stadium. I'm telling you Thin. Lizzy was better and rocked harder.
All the main guitar solos are traditional Irish folk tunes
I was there
I have this album off thin Lizzy so fuckin great album 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎶
Guys did you notice that they played Danny Boy in the middle only in Ireland ☘️☘️🇮🇪🇮🇪🇺🇲🇺🇲 I love your reaction it's not take it's real thank you both
Great reaction, best yet.
Need to check out emerald and still in love with you out from the same gig it’s incredible
whatever you had for breakfast this morning,.. I want the recipe...... greetings from London UK, love this channel, keep 'em coming....
Just wanted to recommend a Phil Lynott song called Yellow Pearl.
( scott gorham) by the way who played in (thin lizzy) is (american)
I miss Gary.
Lizzy is great I have all there music
Okay guys, here you have the typical Thin Lizzy twin guitar harmonicing, witch they made very popular.. And it is exacly what the girls in Lovebites do to ( only faster), think about it, Miyako is a big Gary Moore fan... :)
THE ANCIENT NAME FOR IRELAND WAS (THE BLACK ROSE)
I have this d v d just awesome
Yes girl, you got all the names wrong, except for Moore!
You really need to react to the Gary Moore song "Business As Usual". It is about his life growing up in Belfast!
You should hear the original song by phil and thin lizzy. Amazing
Thank you for your coment!! It´s one og the best Thin Lizzy sonhgs, I think! But listen to the live version of Thin Lizzy with Phill. It´s mind blowing good! Not that this one is great! But it´s different with Phil!
yes - Gary Moore is my great template. And no one played Black Rose live like he did. I´m a huge Thin lizzy fan and I´ve seen much videos of this song - also the last concert at Loreley with Scott Gorham and Snowy White ..... I love both. But they could´t touch Gary Moore ...... He´s the king of guitar!!!!!!!!!
Nice
Amazing version, never gotta the last verse with all the great puns celebrating Irishness though. What's up Gary huh?
New ice nine kills!
It doesn't hurt that it's "the one and only Brian Downey on drums". "Live And Dangerous" listen for it! The best rendition of "Black Rose" ever minus Phil!
Suzi are you drinking today Yo........?.?
Back again how do I get a T Shirt
Scott GORHAM. Not GRAHAM.
Scott never seen Gary after this concert.
Thin lizzy were awesome live
