How come qatari government does not involve iraq, syria, palestinian... invasions? How come they are always involved in showing off with their 7 star hotels and posh cars in there but the same race arabic countries dying out there? Instead of fighting so much for a football tournament and build posh stadiums to wreck later on, they could have helped millions of people. This hypocrisy is some next level.

Qatar has a native population of 300,000 and immigrants/ non Qatari population of 1.5 million . How many immigrants do you have in your country??

It's not about the past. It's about the present. When they chose Qatar, after taking a bunch of bribes, btw, they caused (not very indirectly, btw) the death of 6500 migrant workers, and the enslavement of hundreds of thousands.

As a presenter he has managed to become even more loathed than a politician.

If he really wants to take a stand he shouldn't be going at all! But of course he also wants to go because of the money.

How do you know why he's going? Is he well paid? Yes I'm sure he is. Is he paid to be a sports journalist? Yes. Has football been his entire life? Yes. Could it not be that he is going because he gets the chance to do a major job in the sport that is his life? Or both things...... Or none of the things that are stated. Unless you have spoken to him, how do you know that anything you said is true?

First, it is Lineker lol and he is a football pundit and ex football player. I never seen him singing or talk about music before. Every world cup host country was criticised before. Noboby from these countries called "others" racist or hypocrite lol. Same issue, he talked about brazil where kids were used to build stadiums and more than needed was spent for stadiums.

I mean what is 'Corruption' we have issues in our backyards, but easily point fingers at other nations. Focus on Football, double standards as always.
