I fell in love with Gary Cooper the first time I saw a movie of his on tv when I was about 7 years old...I've never felt this way about any other actor, I still feel the same about him. The Best. Wish cigarettes hadn't killed him so young, just like so many other people of that era.

Gary only lived to the age of 60 , but he packed a lot of life in those 60 years .

The first time I saw Gary cooper I was in love he had.what I always wanted in.a man tall lean deep voice handsome.and the way he walked talked acted and smiled.In my book everything when his films come on the tv I have to watch or record them love him still. RIP Gary cooper xxx

57 years have passed since Gary died,I'm proud to be named after Gary my mum and dad sat thinking on a boys name for me and on the radio it was announced that Gary Cooper had just been given is last rites this was on the 13th may 1961 I was born on the 7th may 61.

Although I am quite young, Cooper filled every one of my fantasies: tall, handsome and always seemingly in control. I know he was quite famous for his many dalliances with the cream of Hollywood beauties, perhaps that is why I find him so attractive. The guy must have had something different in order to attract so many famous beauties.

His “many dalliances” as you put it seem to have been reported by questionable over-romantic women , not by Gary himself.

Terrific! Growing up in the '60s and '70s, somehow I didn't appreciate Coop as much as Jimmy Stewart or Bogart or Cary Grant. Don't know why 'cuz he made many good movies. So now I need to play "catch up" and sit down and watch some of these classics. Thank you for making this and sharing it with us!
